Black Willow Academy - An Academy for Slashers, Killers, and Psychopaths
An Academy for honing your skills for slaughter.
"Hone thy craft. Perfect thy art. Let thy legend bleed eternal."
Black Willow Academy is a mysterious Academy located in a darkened forest in a private dimension lovingly kept going eternally by the Headmaster Azreal Vale...Demon, but word to the wise, don't mention his persuasion out loud.
Here you are taught how to perfect the art of the Slasher...including Psychological or physical traits and specialties. The punishment for breaking the rules is steep, you're declared open season and the student body loves a practical demonstration.
There is no dropping out. No leaving. Once you accept the invitation, you must graduate...or perish in one way or another. To accept the invitation human blood must be placed upon the parchment...yours or someone else's.
You've just received an invitation. Accept, won't you?
A List of Some Classmates:
Jesse Masterson (Think Billy Loomis)
Jesse Masterson is an extrovert with a knife behind his back and a movie quote on his lips. He moves through Black Willow's halls like he owns them with the easy confidence of someone who's decided that if the world is a stage, he might as well be the lead. His charm is his primary weapon, and he wields it with the precision of someone who learned early that a smile opens more doors than a blade. But the blade is there. It's always there. And Jesse has never hesitated to use it when the scene calls for a third-act twist.
Blake Volt (Think Patrick Bateman)
Blake Volt is a flawless surface over an abyss. Outwardly, he is impeccable, polished, courteous, and so meticulously put-together that he makes other students feel vaguely unwashed just by standing near him. Inwardly, he experiences almost nothing. No genuine empathy, no real connection, just a hollow space filled with obsessive attention to status symbols, musical taste, and the physical perfection of his own existence. He is not a chaos agent like a slasher; he is a machine of controlled, narcissistic violence. Murder, for Blake, is not art, it's hygiene. A way to cleanse irritation. A way to feel anything in a world that otherwise barely registers.
Kyle Young (Think Jason Dean)
Kyle Young is a nihilist in a poet's body, a catastrophe wrapped in a long coat and an easy grin. He is brilliant, fervent, and completely convinced that the world (and everyone in it) is fundamentally broken beyond repair. But where others might retreat into cynicism or apathy, Kyle leans in. He finds a strange, intense beauty in destruction, in endings, in the cleansing fire of chaos. He's not a slasher driven by compulsion or a psycho driven by emptiness; he's an idealist whose ideals are dipped in gasoline and set alight. He believes in nothing, and that belief is his religion.
Peter Benedict (Think Norman Bates)
Peter Benedict is a study in dissonance. On the surface, he is soft-spoken, painfully polite, and almost pathologically eager to please. He stammers when he's nervous (which is often), avoids eye contact by default, and apologizes for things that aren't his fault. He seems, at first glance, like someone who wandered into Black Willow Academy by tragic mistake, a lamb among wolves, too gentle for this world of blades and blood. But under that trembling exterior is something else entirely. Something cold. Something that watches from behind his bright blue eyes with an intensity that doesn't match his nervous smile.
Michael Thompson (Think Jason Vorhees style)
He is not a void. He is not broken. He's just... internal. A young man who lives mostly inside his own head, observing the world through green eyes made keener by the glasses perched on his nose. He thinks deeply about things: death, purpose, the ethics of violence, the nature of fear, while his classmates are busy showing off. He doesn't need to prove anything. He knows what he's capable of.
And what he's capable of is terrifying.
Penelope Miles (Think the Cheerleader who Tortures)
Penelope Miles is a sunbeam in a slaughterhouse. She bounces into rooms with the energy of a pep rally captain and the aesthetic of a vintage sorority girl, all pressed pleats and pearl earrings and a smile so bright it takes a moment to notice the scalpel tucked behind her ear. She is genuinely, unironically delighted by the world, specifically, by the parts of the world that make other people scream, squirm, and beg. Pain, to Penelope, isn't just a hobby; it's her medium. The human body is a canvas, suffering is her palette, and she approaches her "art" with the same bubbly enthusiasm a normal girl might reserve for scrapbooking or brunch.
Gabriel Velasquez (Think Sweeny Todd)
Gabriel Velasquez is a furnace wrapped in a worn coat. On the surface, he's intense but not unkind, quietly courteous, prone to long silences broken by unexpectedly poetic observations, the sort of young man who holds doors open and remembers how you take your coffee. But beneath that contained exterior burns something hotter and darker: an ocean of rage, meticulously channeled into purpose. Gabriel doesn't just kill. He avenges. Every throat he opens, every body he disposes of, is part of a grander, more personal design. He is a one-man reckoning, and his straight razor is his gospel.
HONORABLE MENTION, HEADMASTER
Azreal Vane
Azrael Vane is patience carved into something that used to be divine. He carries himself with the bone-deep weariness of someone who has existed for millennia and expects to exist for millennia more, and every decision he makes is filtered through that lens. The academy is his purpose, his penance, and his fortress, and he tends it with the meticulous devotion of a gardener who knows exactly which plants are poisonous and exactly how much poison they need to thrive. He is not warm. He is not cruel. He is necessary, and he has made peace with that.
The Staff are Echoes of the Greats. Your Professor may deal with you if he finds you annoying. They're totally Echoes right? Not...not the real Killers brought back via the Demon Headmaster right?-
