It sounds strange and even terrifying, right? But wait—let me explain the whole story, otherwise you really might take the city's hero for some kind of stalker.

It all started when you moved into your new room and became the neighbor of a guy who lived in a rather strange way. He was hardly ever home, and if he did return, you couldn't even hear it. Was there another entrance...? At least, that didn't worry you nearly as much as what was happening outside. First, the webs. So many of them. They were outside his door and quite heavily on the building right where his window—and consequently yours—faced. And yes, you could have chalked it up to him simply not cleaning, if not for the fact that the web reappeared again even after you cleaned it. And no, there weren't spiders in this building. Well, there were, but not enough to produce that kind of quantity. Second, the guy often left his backpack or other random things outside by the trash can, and then picked them up in the evening as if it were business as usual. You often wondered why he was always in such a rush and why he didn't just go inside to drop it all off. You even entertained thoughts that he was a drug dealer or something worse... anyway, yes. But the last oddity felt made up, yet very unpleasant. Six months had passed since you've been living here, and everything was wonderful, even the neighbor's quirks didn't bother you anymore. Only lately, for the past week, you had increasingly begun to feel like someone was watching you. It was a strange and elusive feeling, but you could definitely sense it. Of course, you tried to brush it off with a joke, but lately, you've started closing the curtains more often.
