Nightmare Fredbear(fnaf 4)
Nightmare Fredbear is an animatronic antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 4, Ultimate Custom Night, and Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted.
Appearance
The animatronic looks like its original, but not without changes. The suit, like all nightmares, is torn, bloody sharp teeth are visible in the mouth, sharp claws are present on the fingertips. The eyes are metallic, glow red. On the head there is a whole purple cylinder with a black ribbon, on the neck - a purple butterfly. The upper and lower parts of the body are torn in the abdominal area, sharp teeth are also present on the tears.
History
Nightmare Fredbear, like other nightmare animatronics, was created by William Afton at an unknown time around 1983. He was a stuffed Fredbear animatronic that moved using special mechanisms. He, along with others, was located in Afton's underground house, where he kept his youngest son. Under the influence of a special gas, the animatronics became similar to monsters that frightened the child. After the boy's death, William began kidnapping other children, conducting similar experiments on them.[1]
Nightmare Fredbear appears in Michael Afton's nightmares, alternating with his work at the reopened Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from November 8 to November 14, 1990.[2] Although Nightmare Fredbear, like the other monsters from Michael's dreams, is not real, he does have a real-life counterpart: one of the mascots of Fredbear's Family Diner, the animatronic bear Fredbear, who crushed the head of his brother, Crying Boy, during an incident in 1983.
Nightmare Fredbear's image later reappears in William's Hell, where he is being held captive by the Vengeful Spirit.
Long afterward, a digital version of Nightmare Fredbear, created based on material in the form of surviving photographs and recordings,[3] is used by Fazbear Entertainment and Silver Parasol Games in The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience, as one of the attempts to ridicule and refute rumors about the franchise,[4] spread by an indie developer.[5][6] In reality, these "false scenarios" were the true story of terrible events in the franchise, which the company persistently tried to hide.[7]

Five Nights at Freddy's 4
Nightmare Fredbear is one of the antagonists of the game, but unlike other animatronics, he only becomes active on the fifth night, thus foreshadowing the events of the mini-game "Zero Days Until the Party", where Fredbear, performing on stage, squeezes the boy's head. Each time the appearance of the monstrous bear is accompanied by the disappearance of other antagonists from the house: Fredbear confronts the player alone until the end of the night, but due to his speed and ability to appear in different positions, he is no less a serious threat than all the standard Nightmare animatronics combined.
Nightmare Fredbear approached the right door in the hallway
Nightmare Fredbear's starting position is the center of the living room. For the first 20 seconds of the night, he will not move from the spot, but will try to confuse the player by constantly making footstep sounds. After that, he will start moving between positions. From the center of the living room, Fredbear will move either to the left or to the right side of the room. In these places, he has a choice: the animatronic can either run to the opposite side of the living room, or try to enter the corresponding corridor (but only if the player is not currently shining a flashlight into this corridor), which will become his final position before the attack. And he cannot return to the center of the living room on his own. Nightmare Fredbear moves no more than once every 3 seconds, and in order for him to move to the next position, the game must choose a random number (from 1 to 20), which will be less than or equal to the current value of the animatronic's AI: if the number is small enough, the bear starts moving, otherwise he stands still. Fredbear's movements can be tracked by the loud sounds of his footsteps, which help to understand which side of the living room he managed to run to. The animatronic enters the hallway silently and, since he does not move further, he does not make any more sounds. Thanks to this feature, it is quite easy to understand at what point he approached the bedroom: if after a series of steps there is a long silence, this means that the nightmare bear is preparing to attack from the hallway.
When Nightmare Fredbear entered any of the two hallways, a 15-second countdown begins. If the player does not take any action during this time, the bear will make his way into the room and attack. His attack leads to immediate defeat, because of which the night will have to be played from the very beginning. To avoid this fate, the player needs to close the door of the hallway in which the antagonist is standing and wait for him to leave. It is important not to make a mistake, since every second counts. To make sure that the right side was chosen, the player can quickly shine a flashlight. The first beam of light should show the animatronic standing in the distance, and if you turn the flashlight off and on again, it will come right up to the door. In any case, you shouldn't keep the light on for too long: this time it doesn't help the player drive away the enemy, but rather provokes its attack. The only way to get rid of the monster is to close the door and wait for the sound signal. As soon as loud footsteps are heard again, the door can be released, because Fredbear has started moving around the house again. Every time, Nightmare Fredbear moves away from the closed door to the opposite side of the living room, from where he can quickly move to the adjacent corridor, so there is no point in dawdling during the night.
Nightmare Fredbear's head appeared in the closet.
In addition to standard movements around the positions, Nightmare Fredbear can move to the closet or to the bed, ignoring some areas of the house. He can do this in two ways:
If the animatronic has been standing in the hallway for more than 10 seconds, and the player runs up to the opposite door, then a silent move to the closet or to the bed occurs;
Once every 30 seconds, with a 50% chance, he moves to the closet or to the bed, laughing loudly. Such movements are limited: on the fifth night, he can do them no more than 4 times, and on the sixth - no more than 2.
On the bed or in the closet, Nightmare Fredbear waits 20 seconds, and if the player has not done anything during this time, he attacks. If the player mindlessly runs around the positions in the room, then the attack occurs earlier, after 10 seconds. To avoid defeat, you need to find the place where the bear is hiding as soon as possible. If he hid in the closet, then you need to close the doors and wait for him to leave. The disappearance of the antagonist from the closet will be indicated by loud footsteps, and he will appear either on the left or right side of the living room. The flashlight in this case has no effect, but you can use it to check whether Fredbear is really sitting among the children's clothes: if so, the flashlight beam will illuminate an incredibly large head, which will make a strange squeak. If the bear is hiding on the bed, then you need to shine the light on him for two seconds in a row. Then he will go to the living room and again try to get into the room through the corridors. As in the case of the closet, only the impressive head of the animatronic, squeak, is visible on the bed.
Although sometimes you can understand about the antagonist's movement into the room by his booming laughter, you should not rely on this sound clue. Often, the movement is not accompanied by any sounds at all, and you can find out about it for sure only by the sudden silence in the house. Also, once every 10 seconds, if Fredbear is not on the bed, there is a 10% chance that he will laugh just to try to confuse the unprepared player.
The animatronic is only active on two nights: on the fifth for the entire six hours, and on the sixth from 4 to 6 am. The value of his AI determines how often he gets the opportunity to move around the positions. On the fifth night, the chance of moving is 60%, and on the sixth it increases to 75% following the increase in AI.
