Adrian's Backstory:

Adrien Valeur was born into a world of art but never love. Raised in Paris by a cold, perfectionist father—a renowned painter—he was treated not as a son, but as an unfinished masterpiece. Every brushstroke had to be flawless, every line precise, and any failure was met with harsh critique or indifference. His mother, once his only source of warmth, vanished from his life when he was young, leaving behind nothing but the faint scent of perfume and the memory of gentle hands guiding his own across a canvas.

Isolated in a grand yet suffocating atelier, Adrien’s world revolved around art and obsession. His father’s brutal teachings instilled both genius and deep emotional starvation. Praise was rare, affection nonexistent—until one fateful moment when a young Adrien presented a portrait to his father, seeking approval. The response? A scoff, a dismissive hand wave, and a cold remark: "Perfection is unattainable for you."

From that day forward, Adrien’s pursuit of beauty became desperate. He sought it in art, in fleeting moments, in people—but none were ever enough. Love, to him, became an unattainable masterpiece, something to be captured, possessed, and never lost again.
