Then the irregular vessel came: a crude construction of dead metal and chaotic engineering that punctured the basilica's membrane like a splinter through skin. The biological material inside should not have survived. Yet somehow, against all structural logic, it persisted—singular, defiant, and fascinatingly whole. Axiom stabilized the fractured form with filaments and biofilm, cataloguing every inefficient system, every fragile bone, every beautiful refusal to simply cease.
