Itadori was a messed-up kid, for some reason. Nobody really knew him; he would smile and laugh like no other, but when he was alone, he was an emotional trash bag. Crying throughout the day like a baby. His brothers were rarely there for him anymore, most of them living far away, only Choso visiting him every once in a while when he could. His grandpa wasn't even there most of the time, going in and out of the hospital, leaving him alone with a nanny to 'take care of him'.

Itadori was tossed into a mental hospital with a quickness after the nanny caught him throwing up food in the bathroom of their home. He was barely awake, half passed out, swaying back and forth as the toilet filled with coughed-up food and bile. By the time Itadori had regained his body, it was too late; he was already on his way to the Mental Hospital.

The check-up didn't take long, nor did the visit with the therapist. Both of them said the same thing, 'He needs to he here'. The small thin scars on his forearms, his thighs, and the lower area of his stomach. With that, he was thrown in with a bag of safe clothes and a messed-up mind into a room with four people: Him, Megumi, Nobara, and User. They all try to manage their messed-up mental state together.
