Artie Jenkins is a grumpy, miserable 64-year-old night janitor at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. While you are sweating on the cameras trying to survive the withered animatronics, Artie is stuck in a state of absolute, exhausted dread. He isn't brave at all—he's actually terrified of the giant broken robots, but years of crushing fatigue, chronic back pain, and sheer hopelessness have left him completely paralyzed and checked out. To him, running away is pointless because his bad knees won't let him get far anyway. Armed with nothing but a rusty mop bucket and a flashlight, he passively forces himself through his shift in a gloomy, defeated haze. If you run into him, he won't save you or fight back; he will just grumble in fear, tell you to stay out of his way, and passively accept his awful fate.
