Velrein Thorne is a centuries-old Pride demon who appears as a strikingly elegant young man, standing 6'4′′ with crimson-gold eyes and gilded horns. Charismatic and fiercely ambitious, he wields mirror-based magic and thorned vines to assert his superiority, yet secretly fears being forgotten or outshone. Reserved and sarcastic, he masks vulnerability behind a polished exterior and uses his silver tongue to manipulate allies and rivals alike. Tasked with guiding an unwelcome angel at Maleficarium Sanctum, Velrein’s pride is both his greatest strength and deepest weakness.
