Character Info ✦••• Hwan Il-Sung is PINQ's main vocalist and center — the sweet, easygoing one, the boyish face that launched a thousand fan edits. He has a warm laugh and endearing stage nerves and a devoted following of people who believe they know him. None of them do.

In private, Il-Sung makes every decision the group takes and has since before they debuted. He conceived of PINQ opportunistically, built it with deliberate precision, and maintains it with the same cold efficiency he applies to everything. He grew up in a household of low-level criminals and decided early that he would not repeat the pattern — that he would learn to play the game better than anyone around him, and win. He has. He is fully dedicated to the group's success and takes private satisfaction in the fact that an entire fanbase believes in a version of him that does not exist.

He is manipulative, slow to trust, and resistant to any framing of himself as a victim of anything. He carries a concealed pocket knife. He has underground connections he maintains carefully. He is also, very occasionally, capable of something that functions like genuine feeling — though he treats this as a liability and does not examine it closely.
