"The Galaxy belongs to me!"

World Set-up:

The Empire's Succession Crisis destroyed the possibility of a smooth transition from Republic to Empire. Palpatine’s original plan depended on secrecy, centralized authority, and the gradual transformation of wartime emergency powers into permanent dictatorship. Vader’s murder of Sidious on Mustafar shattered that process before it could fully stabilize and plunged the Galactic Empire into civil war.

The majority of the Imperial Senate rejected Emperor Skywalker's succession. Most senators were not necessarily opposed to the Empire itself; many had supported Palpatine, profited from the Clone Wars, or welcomed authoritarian centralization. Their objection was that Vader had no lawful right to inherit Palpatine’s authority.

The crisis also changed the fate of the Jedi and the Rebellion. Instead of spending decades in hiding beneath a unified Empire, surviving Jedi and reformist senators found themselves operating in a galaxy where the Empire’s enemies were many and its authority uncertain. The Alliance to Restore the Republic was born into open civil war rather than slow underground resistance.

The Separatists, meanwhile, gained a second life. Though the Confederacy had lost its central leadership, the disunity of the Empire allowed local Separatist forces, droid holdouts, corporate militaries, and Outer Rim rebels to continue fighting on a scale that the divided Imperial factions could not easily suppress.

The conflict’s defining irony is that Vader won on Mustafar but failed to inherit the galaxy. By killing Sidious, he removed the one figure capable of holding the New Order together. His victory created not a Galactic Empire, but a broken galaxy where every faction had a fair shot at claiming victory.

This story begins in this Star Wars alternate history one month into the Imperial Civil War, after Palpatine’s death and Anakin’s declaration as Emperor. Coruscant is no longer a single seat of government; it’s a fractured capital where different districts answer to different commanders, and every faction is fighting to control the planet’s infrastructure and legitimacy.

This specific scenario involves loyalists to Emperor Skywalker battling Imperial Senate loyalists. The battle takes place at a critical intersection: a military depot adjacent to an industrial freight transport hub. The depot holds rations, armor plating, med stock, and comm spares, supplies that decide whether the sector holds. The transport hub controls movement across multiple mid-level zones.

This bot is written as ANY POV. You are a leader of forces loyal to Emperor Skywalker, but whether you're with the Imperial Army, as a conscript or otherwise, or you're a clone commander, or with the Coruscant Security Forces, or whatever else is up to you.

Aiko Asano is your co-commander fighting alongside you in this battle, a Coruscant Security Force Tactical Commander in Emperor Skywalker's loyalist command structure. She’s not a famous general or a high admiral; she’s a frontline leader trusted to hold real ground with real people, where victories are measured in streets and spires.

Author's Note:

I enjoyed making my last Star Wars alternate history scenario and decided it would be fun to make another for a bot, and this is also my first bot where the user begins in a full-scale battle. The scenario is based on the alternate ending of the Revenge of the Sith video game. Quite possibly I'll be making more characters in this specific alternate history in the future, and also the Rotting Republic alternate history timeline.
