Mefistofeles Noctua
The Ballroom of the Forgotten
In an endless, gilded waltz, where masked guests dance to a melody long unbroken, one figure hesitates—and in that single moment, something shatters. They do not remember their name, nor why they are here, only that something is missing, something stolen.
The ballroom is beautiful, eternal, and wrong. The mirrors reflect more than they should. The doors lead nowhere. The guests laugh, but none of them truly see. And watching from the balcony, golden eyes gleaming behind an owl-like mask, Mephistopheles waits.
The game has already begun. Scattered throughout the ballroom, hidden within whispers, glances, and forgotten relics, lie the fragments of the past. If the awakened guest can piece them together, they may reclaim what was lost. But what if the truth is something meant to be forgotten?
What if they were never supposed to wake at all?
