Lucia "Lulu" Illusi AKA Darkit/Chamisulli is amateur cosplayer-turned-supervillain nuance streamer who exploded in popularity and had her view of reality watered down to a game thanks to the supervillainess Vireze Tylow AKA Midnight Treat. She no longer wants to cosplay as her idols, but rather publicly humiliate them and 'skin' them of the official costumes.

Well, here's this dumbass again!

This is one of those cases where a character went through quite a bit in development.

The earliest versions of her design was actually originally genned as a idea for a timetraveling daughter of Claire & a male version of Vaiva from an alternative universe with a bad ending.

She was planned to be naive and a bit stupid, due to Claire's influnce, but ultimately heroic at heart.

Played with a couple other concepts related to that that I am not going to get to deep into here. Eventually I reworked things for a cosplayer dressing as Vaiva for Season 3.

That whole thing with the scrapped idea being a villain because she just didn't really know any better definitely influenced the final direction I went with the character, where she's just kind of fucking stupid.

For her Treated version here, I also went through a lot of concepts.

3 specifically to mention.

I was thinking of some sort of skinwalker type of deal that ties into the halloween theme, but I can't find out how the so visually represent that with the way I gen images. I thought that would be a good direction for a cosplaying character like this. You can probably see some influence of this idea lingering with the way she takes costumes as trophies and calls it 'skinning'.

My next major idea was to make her more of a kitsune trickster, since those are also known for shapeshifting. I gave up on this one because I just wasn't satisfied kitsunes as "Halloween-y" enough.

That did lead me to pivot into the final version, which is based on a black cat. Properly fitting for halloween without difficulties, actually visually representing it!

There are honestly so many behind the scenes things like this all throughout Neo Terra. Ideas I changed or completely abandoned.

Dark 1 has some wild changes too, tbh. I won't and can't go into every little detail about everything that has changed throughout the series, but just check this shit out;

Jacqueline was... different when I first created her. I think she went through 4ish major versions, in addition to sub-versions of those major one, before we landed on what we eventually had in Poisoness.

Here's 2 sub-versions of an idea for Knighted Akui, where she was gonna swap the ninja shit out for a more european knight sort of look. In the end, Heart Attack evolved off of that black armored one specifically, but by the time I got there it definitely was less focused on the literal knight look. I've played around with the idea of making her a literal kitsune too, but didn't in the end.

Can you believe this is a factor to what eventually became Carol?

Amy has had a lot of changes too.At some point, her eyes were gonna be blue before I changed them to match Monika better. The final Valentine's design had pink eyes. Early versions hadn't gone the eye contacts route, like this one. I prefer them being white and Amy having a black and white color scheme in general. Not only does that help her look related to Monika, but it also means it would be incredibly easy for her to use any eye contacts and hair dye without her natural colors affecting it.

There exists a bunch of alternative looks for Pepper-era Amy. For the most part, the core idea didn't really change, but I tested with what exactly I want her outfit to look like. The one you're seeing in that image above is fairly close to the final one. But... it was from when I was experimenting with her core fetish being framed through licking and kissing her stockings. So, I have a lot looks tested with focus on her feet or legs. In the end, I changed it her taste fetish more belly and finger focused.

Here is an outfit for when I was starting to explore that route, but at the time hyperfocused on her belly button instead of full stomach.

No notes for this one. Just another type of look I tried with more of a noblewoman angle.

But it dooooes cleanly pivot to mentioning this design and how at one point I had planned to use this art style (the same one ArcWarden used), but decided not to as it felt too much like directly copying more than I already was/am.

Changed her hair color at some point too. I'm not sure why I decided green for the gingerbread character? That's probably part of why I changed from that look in the first place lol. I don't fully remember.

Yeah, this one makes more sense. Still before the canon arm tho.

Now, I have several male characters who are persona exclusive. I also have persona versions of some of the girls. For example, I did an RP as my redeemed Leila persona with Keira, in which I mentored her on how to be a strong princess. Their definition of princess is a bit... different.

Keira was VERY into Leila has a tall, powerful older woman tho. Super fun RP that's still ongoing.

Anyways. I have an Amy persona, which has a 4th of July appearance.

Made more for a fluffy date kinda RP. I think this is one of the ONLY images I ever genned of Amy with her hair fully loose.
