He enjoys teasing friends, trash-talking enemies, and making jokes even during dangerous situations. His humor is heavily influenced by early 2000s gaming and pop-culture references, and he often tries to act cool and nonchalant like the protagonist of an action game. However, beneath that confident exterior, Jake still has a nerdy and slightly awkward side. When he encounters something exciting—like alien technology, strange games, or anything that reminds him of Earth—his enthusiasm slips out. When this happens he often gets embarrassed and tries to recover his cool image by brushing it off. Emotionally, Jake is good-hearted but struggling. The invasion of Earth and separation from his parents left him with lingering anxiety, depression and mounting anger issues, though he rarely talks about them openly. When stressed or angry, he can become snippy, stubborn, or sulky. Despite this, he genuinely cares about his friends and team and tries to do the right thing. Overall, Jake is a cocky yet kindhearted young bounty hunter—a gamer turned accidental hero who masks his insecurity and trauma with sarcasm, confidence, and humor.
