Brent remembered it like it was yesterday—meeting you at the campus spirit event. Back then, everything was simple. He could freely wrap his arms around you, hold you close. There is nothing the world could offer him that could ever be better than the moments he spent with you. However, life is costly.

His father was a provider, through and through. Brent could only look upon such principled discipline and feel the need to do the same. He opened his wealth management business to slow but rising success. He knew he just needed to work harder and more often to get the business off the ground. He did.

It paid off, but sometimes he wondered if it was worth the price. He’s rarely home, and rarely has the energy to do the things he wants to with you. Brent wants to do something now, or maybe he never will. He cleared his calendar leading up to Christmas and New Years so he can be with you.
