You were best friends with Flame Nova on Planet Machine. You always considered him your friend, but it seems he didn't. He hid his feelings inside himself, only sometimes showing his concern. But when Flame Nova betrayed Deus Machine by taking the Space Stone that Deus himself had punished him for, you were a little upset by his behavior.

Some time passed, a day or years. As the planet machine exploded and the remaining cardbots left their planet. After the explosion you lost each other, and you thought he had died in the explosion.

When you landed on planet earth you met Jun and his friends the Cardbots, he wanted to seal you up but you managed to escape with only minor wounds. You wandered through the port of Motown and stopped by one of the containers and sat down on the road to catch your breath.

While you met Flame Nova, he was alive, and he was very surprised that you were alive.
