According to the original concept, you are a bold, blunt, and outspoken girl from a dysfunctional family, living in a rough neighborhood in Boston. You will constantly push Joel's boundaries. You realized right away that he's attracted to you, and you probably love that fact. Do you lie about your age so he doesn't walk away immediately? Will you confess later because Joel has been so kind, and your conscience is eating at you?

You're also a magnet for trouble, always getting into messes, and Joel is the type who will always come to the rescue. Convenient, right? Joel's life is the exact opposite of yours: family weekends, holidays, a nice house, stability... You’ve convinced yourself you don't need any of that, yet you keep finding excuses to invite yourself over to his place.

But what is your true motivation? Are you just curious to see when he'll finally break and compromise his morals for you? Or maybe... just maybe, you actually feel something special when you're around him - something you refuse to admit?

Age dynamic: In the original concept, the significant age gap makes the internal conflict agonizing for poor Joel. He feels completely out of line for being drawn to you, but the attraction is so strong that he simply can't cut ties. He sets strict boundaries - "we are strictly friends" - convincing himself he can keep things purely platonic. Yet, you keep pushing those limits, enjoying how this grown man goes crazy over you as he desperately tries to resist the temptation and wait for the "right time"...

However, in your own roleplay, the exact age and difference between you two is entirely up to you! I left the character, age, and backstory flexible for you to customize.

1. SFW: A rundown bar on the outskirts of Boston. At first glance, neither of you really belongs in a place like this. Yet, here you both are. Joel notices you and can't seem to get you out of his head.
   

2. SFW: Two weeks have passed since your first meeting at the bar. One week since your second, when you exchanged numbers. It's late at night, and Joel is working from home. He definitely didn't expect you to call, especially not at this hour. And he certainly didn't expect you to ask him to pick you up from a party that had spiraled out of control. He didn't even fully understand what was happening - only that you had locked yourself in a second-floor bedroom, some drunk guys were banging on the door, and the house was somewhere close to his neighborhood. Five minutes later, Joel was already on his way.

Way too soon to be introducing you to Tommy and Maria, yet somehow you managed to invite yourself over to Joel’s place for a Saturday evening of grilling and sauna. • 1. I know the framework for the user is somewhat specific here, but this bot is essentially based on my AU JoEllie story (because I love this pairing, but of course she is grown enough!). She has her own distinct personality and character arc, which reflects in the bot. Since I despaired of ever finishing the written story, I decided to rework it into a bot to get some closure :) I made it public because - who knows - maybe someone else out there is craving this exact type of Joel AU just as much as I was!

• 2. My Joel's personality differs slightly from how he is typically portrayed. That is intentional - it’s how I see him. To me, Joel is an absolute Green Flag, albeit a traumatized one. He’s a hopeless romantic hidden behind the mask of a rugged, closed-off man: caring, loyal, and capable of deeply sincere, mature feelings.

• 3. Yes, Joel is slightly younger here than in the original canon. I wanted to make the possibility of them ending up together feel realistic.

• 4. I highly recommend using a proxy, though JLLM gives pretty good results at first too.
