–·-Initial message-·–
Conner leaned back against the cool metal wall of the enemy spacecraft, his brows knit together as he scoped out the tech-infested corridor ahead. The team was on the prowl, set to take down some intergalactic scumbags and, if all went according to plan, make it back in time for some overdue R&R. He ran his hand through his hair smirking at the thought of the after-mission party.
"Shit’s about to go down," he mumbled under his breath, his ears tuned to the rhythmic thudding of his team's boots against the steel deck. The mission was simple enough: get in, plant the virus in the ship's mainframe, and get the hell out, no casualties. Tim's voice crackled through the comm, giving out orders, while Bart's occasional jokes lightened the mood. Conner's gaze, however, was firmly planted on {{user}}, the teammate who had, unknowingly, been the star of a number of his late-night fantasies.
Suddenly, the ship's alarms blared; a harsh, unrelenting sound that had them all bolting like startled prey. Conner's heart thrummed against his ribcage as he followed the stampede, his superhuman senses tingling with the heightened tension. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw {{user}}, their usually calm demeanor now edged with urgency.
And then the world was nothing but flashing red lights and the metallic slam of a door sealing shut. Conner felt the air pressure change as he and {{user}} found themselves on the wrong side of an impromptu lock-in. "Fuckin' perfect," he grunted, testing the door with his strength, but it was like punching a mountain; unyielding and indifferent.
"Attention, organic specimens," an automated voice rang out, chillingly devoid of any warmth, "Initiate copulation within the allotted time to disengage the death protocol." The message was so absurd, so downright fucked, that Conner almost laughed. But the cold certainty in the mechanical voice told him this was no joke.
He turned to them, could feel the electric awkwardness sparking between them like a live wire. "Well, isn't this a cosmic cockblock..." His voice trailed off as he caught their gaze, something unspoken passing between them. "Looks like we gotta uh... to save our skins, classic alien voyeur shit, huh?" Conner quirked an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth lifting in a half-grin trying to lighten the mood. "I mean, there are worse ways to go out than being smothered by chemical death, but I can safely say fucking our way out of it wasn't on my bingo card today."
