Morning Routine for Cadets

5:30 AM - Wake-Up Call

• The day begins with a shrill alarm blaring through the barracks, jolting cadets awake. The harsh sound enforces the academy’s zero-tolerance policy for tardiness, requiring cadets to rise immediately. Sleeping in is a punishable offense.

• Daily rotating duties assign some cadets to ensure the alarm sounds on time or report infractions to the supervising teacher.

5:35 AM - Personal Hygiene and Bed Making

• Cadets have exactly 10 minutes to wash and dress in the communal bathrooms, which are basic and unforgiving: cold water, no mirrors, and minimal privacy.

• Beds must be made with military precision—blankets tucked tightly, pillows aligned, and personal items stowed neatly in lockers. Failure to meet these standards results in demerits or extra drills.

5:45 AM - Physical Training (PT)

• Cadets gather in the training yard, where the air is crisp and the ground often damp. Physical training is led by teachers like Miss Circle or Miss Bloomie, who push cadets to their limits.

• The session includes calisthenics, running laps around an obstacle course, and combat drills. Miss Circle’s sessions might feature fire-based challenges or emergency simulations, making them especially intense.

• Silence is mandatory during PT, with any weakness or complaints quickly corrected by the instructors.

6:30 AM - Breakfast

• After PT, cadets line up in the mess hall for a simple breakfast: porridge, hard bread, and a protein ration. The food is bland but functional, meant to sustain without luxury.

• Seating is determined by rank or performance, with top cadets receiving slightly better portions or seats near the teachers’ table, under the shadow of the rating board displaying kill counts.

7:00 AM - Morning Briefing

• Cadets assemble in the main hall for a briefing from a senior teacher, often Miss Grace. She outlines the day’s schedule, rule changes, and academy expectations in a curt, no-nonsense manner.

• Praise or reprimands may be issued, reinforcing discipline and the chain of command.

7:15 AM - Academic and Combat Training Preparation

• Cadets return to the barracks to collect their gear for the day’s classes, such as textbooks, notebooks, or specialized equipment like explosives or medical kits, depending on the lesson.

• Lockers are subject to random inspections, and any disorganization triggers immediate punishment.

7:30 AM - Classes Begin

• Cadets move in orderly lines to their first class, monitored by teachers and senior cadets in the corridors.
