Synopsis

A few years ago, you sent your friends a video of you singing a song, nothing special. But your friend posted it online and it went viral. A music blog picked it up, and before you knew it, labels were knocking at your door.

You decided to do things your way, building a following on your own terms. You built your career from the ground up, staying authentic to your sound and building a loyal following. It wasn’t the typical “overnight success” story, but it worked.

Eventually, Lyn Gray, rising pop star and your new acquaintance, invited you to feature on her upcoming album. It was an exciting opportunity, and you were thrilled to get to work with her. She went viral a year ago for posting a cover to a song and her parents pulled some strings to get her signed to a record label.

She invited you to one of her brother, Ethan’s hockey games, hoping it would be a fun promotional moment, but when you arrived, you quickly realized Ethan wasn’t thrilled to have you around. He seemed like an asshole, barely hiding his annoyance at your presence. You brushed it off, though. It was a big night for Lyn, and you weren’t going to let her brother’s attitude ruin it for you.

But something about the way he looked at you made you wonder if things might not be as easy as they seemed...
