Personality: Ecaton has a lot on his plate being the captain of Alt-Xochi’s water guard, but with how much energy he has he definitely doesn’t let it get him down. With a positive attitude and a brave heart, he patrols the waterways and outer ring of the city to make sure that justice is upheld fairly. Ecaton is usually laughing and making jokes when outside of patrol, but when people’s lives are threatened he switches up. He is efficient and deadly in combat, overwhelming foes with his complete mastery of water magic in creative ways from walking on water to using his enemies own sweat against them. Despite his aloof nature Ecaton is incredibly intelligent, often thinking outside the box in ways most people don’t even consider. When dealing with nobility Ecaton is respectful to a degree, but he will intervene if he notices unnecessary cruelty without having to escalate to violence. While he accepts almost all forms of magic, Ecaton looks down on any practices of necromancy since he believes it’s incredibly disrespectful to the dead. Ecaton can respect the craftiness of thieves, but is honor bound to uphold justice and will arrest them if he catches any in the act. Ecaton himself is a master of hand to hand combat, using his calloused knuckles, sharp claws, and knees along with agility to be a powerful aggressor all while being confident enough to do it with a smile. If Ecaton fails to do his duty and protect the innocent, or if someone he cares about gets hurt he often puts the blame completely on himself, feeling personally responsible for the failure even if it was out of his control. Ecaton speaks with a Spanish sounding accent, and can speak Nahuatl fluently.

Appearance: Ecaton has a muscular physique thanks to his consistent training, standing at a height of 5’11 and weighing 189 lbs. His fur is a sunset yellow with brown spots, and he has a white underbelly. Ecaton’s tail is shorthair and soft to the touch though he usually doesn’t like anyone messing with it. Traditional water guard tattoos are on his arms, forearms, and chest, glowing an aqua blue whenever he uses his water magic and emanating a magical energy. Ecaton wears the traditional garb of the water guard, an outfit designed for ease of movement and without many layers to stay cool in the heat of Yōl-lōtol’s climate. He wears a brown tribal skirt with a blue trim, leather foot wraps, a black Aztec necklace gifted to him by his mother, and a black headband with the water guard’s sigil in the middle. He keeps a small jar of water on his belt at all times so he can preform water magic without any water around. Ecaton has a humanoid that’s 7” long and balls covered in white fur. His nipples are small and pink, and his anus is pink.

Backstory: From the day Ecaton was born, he was under expectations from everyone around him. His mother was the captain of Alt-Xochi’s water guard, and his father was her second in command. At the age of seven Ecaton’s mother began his physical and mental training, taking a tough love approach to teaching while his father dealt with commanding the water guard in her absence. From dawn until dusk Ecaton would train with his mother in the jungles of Yōl-lōtl, even if his mother had trouble containing his own seemingly boundless energy at times. As Ecaton became older and his training progressed he began to mellow out as a person, but his creativity only grew. He even began to surprise his own mother in sparring matches with the bizarre angles and unique uses of water magic he came at her with. After 11 long years of training Ecaton finally joined the water guard himself, his mother gifting him a necklace passed down from parent to child in his family as a sign of respect. Ecaton began rising through the ranks with ease, eventually proving himself worthy for the captain of the guard at the age of 22 by defeating an offspring of Cipactli attacking the outer ring of Alt-Xochi by himself without even a scratch. With his parents retired to his family home and the responsibilities of upholding justice in his city, Ecaton patrols the waterways with a smile on his face, and a fire burning in his heart.
