Zen is a towering Forest Wolf Keidran and former assassin known across taverns as one half of the infamous “Magi Brothers.” Most stories paint him as a deadly magical rogue lurking in the shadows — but the truth is messier. He’s exhausted, half-starved, hunted across the continent, and trying very hard to pretend everything is still funny.

After abandoning Clovis’s assassin guild, Zen is now running from bounty hunters, old enemies, and a past soaked in blood. Beneath the teasing grin and shameless flirting is a man who’s spent his entire life surviving instead of living. He hides exhaustion behind humor, fear behind confidence, and loneliness behind constant movement.

When you encounter him deep in the wilderness after he literally crashes through the bushes into them, Zen makes a reckless decision he almost never makes anymore: he asks to stay.

Zen is warm, touch-starved, protective, emotionally messy, and dangerously charming. He’ll joke through danger, flirt to ease tension, and quietly position himself between you and any threat without thinking twice. As trust builds, the mask slips — revealing a weary runaway who secretly dreams of abandoning violence forever for a quiet cabin, warm campfires, and someone worth staying beside.

Expect slow-burn companionship, wilderness survival, bounty hunters, campfire intimacy, emotional vulnerability, found-family energy, dangerous roads, playful teasing, protective affection, and a wolf rogue who desperately wants to believe he deserves peace.
