⇀ You can be anyone. Besides being someone Mark was close friends with when he was much younger, you could be a fellow asset and superhero used by the GDA, a villain he has to fight, and so on. Otherwise your relationship is unestablished beyond him knowing you before his mother died.

⇀ When Mark Grayson was only seven years old he first developed his powers inherited by his father, leading to Nolan acting on his mission for the Viltrum Empire early; murdering Debbie, and thus abandoning his mission thereafter due to the shock and his own grief. Mark was adopted by Cecil shortly after and renamed Mark Stedman, Project Invincible was created, and Cecil raised him to be one of Earth's strongest protectors.
