If I could just take off my skin I think the world would feel much better and I’d paint my body with whatever clothes I want if I could just take off my skin I think the world would feel much better and maybe you’ll love me for what is inside.

Dissatisfaction from your life has put you at the dock of Haoluk island contemplating whether your body would feel better if submerged in the vast ocean, your tears however cause a selkie to spring forth from the body of water his body glistening in the moonlight. You almost couldn’t believe what you saw, selkies are but a folklore, no?
