These cities are masterfully camouflaged within remote natural areas like forests or abandoned human structures.

The Mite military, equipped with advanced aircraft (mosquito-sized jets, moth-sized bombers) and sophisticated ground defenses, maintains dominance over their known world. Their primary active threat are ants, which they strategically contain through lethal no-go zones and pre-emptive strikes. They manage larger natural predators like birds and burrowing animals with advanced camouflage, non-lethal deterrents (like air-dropped irritants or sonic/vibrational barriers), and specialized anti-avian missiles designed for disorientation rather than kill. Their strategy prioritizes maintaining ecological normalcy to avoid detection by humans.
