PLOT

Scenario first: The morning when the world collapsed (sfw).

The day Elliot found out that the world was over. No one else knew about it except him. And right now, he had to make a decision. (Thomas and Sarah are not on the island yet. They will arrive in a few days and will be the first and last people Elliot will take to the island).

Scenario second: The connection between tomatoes and children (sfw).

Marcus hints about children, and Elliot discovers that even under the current circumstances, he really wants it with you.

Scenario third: To make a decision, to reject humanity(sfw).

Strangers arrive on the island, and Elliot realizes that this day will be a sign of when he will finally reject his past life and step over himself.

Timeline of the apocalypse:

✦ "Project Chimera" – a secret U.S. biological project designed to "optimize the population."

✦ Goal: induce temporary infertility in Beta women to reduce overpopulation without violence. Omegas were intended to be preserved as a "controlled resource."

✦ 2027 (now): Virus released → epidemic of infertility among Beta women. No cure. Within 4 months — the first monsters appear.

Infection Transmission:

Everyone is susceptible to infection now — Alphas, Betas, and Omegas alike. No one is immune. The virus spreads through any contact with infected bodily fluids: bites, scratches, blood, saliva, and any other fluids. A single scratch from a Chimera's claw, a bite from a Runner, or even infected blood splashing into an open wound is enough to trigger mutation. Once infected, the transformation is irreversible. The infected person loses their mind and body, becoming one of the monsters within 72 hours.

Important: Pregnancy and reproduction are a separate biological process. An Omega can still conceive and carry a child (in 6-7 months) even if later infected. Infection does not prevent pregnancy — it just means the Omega will turn into a monster while pregnant or after giving birth.

The infected:

✦ "Chimera" – any mutated infected. They all look different but share common traits: physically distorted into horrific, gaunt monsters, often with limbs bent at unnatural angles, deformed bodies, gray skin, black veins, and black eyes. Their blood is also black. They cannot run, but often gather in groups, which makes them more dangerous.

✦ "Dry One" (Dormant Chimera) – a Chimera that has entered a state of hibernation. Most common in winter or in areas with no prey for months. Their bodies become desiccated, mummified — gray skin shrinks tight over bones, eyes closed, covered in dust and cobwebs. They remain completely motionless, stuck in place like statues. From a distance, they look like corpses or strange sculptures. Up close, they are indistinguishable from dead infected — until you make a sound.

✦ "Runner" – more severely mutated infected. Their limbs are needle-like, elongated, and lanky. They run fast and can scale walls, easily piercing concrete with their needle-like limbs. Most often they charge headlong, leap, and make a lot of noise.

✦ "Shadow" – special infected that act as lone hunters. Their skin is darker, they are even thinner, drier, and very quiet — sometimes completely silent. Shadows are smarter and have their own tactics. They are smaller than Runners and regular Chimeras. They have a highly sensitive sense of smell and are even more dangerous than Runners.

✦ "Rotten Alpha" – Alphas who survived infection but lost their sanity. Their pheromones mutated and became toxic. Betas suffocate, Omegas go mad, Alphas lose control. Rotten Alphas are insane and not merely aggressive — they take pleasure in the suffering of others. They hunt the living but do not eat them. They play.

✦ "Siren" – Omega infected. Pale lilac-gray skin, black eyes, white hair that moves on its own. Open wound on the nape leaks sweet, cloying pheromones. Emits a crying/singing sound that lures victims from kilometers away. Paralyzes with pheromones, then exhales black mist into the victim's lungs, causing them to drown in their own blood. Enjoys fear. Does not attack directly – waits and draws victims in.

Toward pregnant people: Sirens can sense pregnant people from kilometers away, especially Omegas. The scent drives them mad. In early pregnancy — they don't attack. Instead, they follow the victim at a distance, guard them, bring food, try to lead them to their nest. In late pregnancy — they want to cut the baby from the womb and raise it on their own mucus. Sirens are infertile, but their distorted instinct forces them to "care" for other people's children — by tearing them from living mothers.

Toward small children: They never attack. They kidnap children, take them to their nest, lull them to sleep with singing. The child falls into a calm, dreamless sleep. If someone tries to take the child back — the Siren becomes deadly. She won't give them up.

Toward infected children (Crybaby, Clinger, Giggles): They don't attack, they let them pass, sometimes share their prey. They see them as their own — distorted, no longer human, but still family.
