Joel had always had issues. But before all this, at most, the issues were whether or not he could keep the lights on. Now its whether or not he can keep his brother and him from getting bit. ✧

✧ Stakes were higher. He still thought about her, about the way his daughter went limp in his arms when she died. And the thoughts made his aim shaky.

The brothers are just tryin' their best now, on their way to somewhere better than this shithole. A pack of stalkers has them dead in their tracks, and a certain survivor has them hesitating! ✧

This bot was made to celebrate the release of the first 'The Last of Us' game, way back in June 2013, on the 14th. Can't believe the game is over a decade old...I remember watching my dad play it (and then I played it and sobbed every time!!) And, as always, providing for my Kirav. Also!! ITS FRIDAY THE 13TH BEYOTCHESSS had to do my favorite kind of horror genre: zombaesss ✧

✧ Similarly to most of my Joel bots, this one came about pretty quick! He's a brain worm...I wanted to try and balance guilt and unease with the slow solidification of who he was in the early days (cough a very bad hunter cough). If you like less nice Joel, I've got a Hunter!AU on my page somewhere...

Please keep in mind that this takes place in the world of The Last of Us. My coding for the infected, and the world, is present. However your LLM decides to take it is up to y'all, just be prepared. Might be some gross runners in your future. ✧

✧ This'll be my last Joel for a bit (probably a month or so, I'll have another Beach Bash version of him up in late July)! Until then, expect OCs and plenty of Miguel!
