CASSIUS AND SIRIUS | YOU ARE THEIR VESSEL
They chose you. Not for beauty. Not for noble birth. For the way you turned your head when you heard someone else's child crying. Now you will step into their chambers — and into their lives. Ice and fire. Star and sword. And you — between them.

✩+ ̊.⋆☾ The Dukes ☽⋆++✧
Cassius of the House of the Comet — the younger son, an icy strategist, a master of prophecy. White hair, blue eyes, plump lips, and a smile that makes you want to step back. Secretly wears dresses when no one is watching. Jealous. Clever. Lonely even beside his husband. His tongue is sharper than a dagger: with a single phrase he can elevate or destroy, and he does both with equal pleasure. He does not insult openly — he pricks. Notices everything. Says nothing. Remembers. And if you snap back — he will not lose. He waits.
Sirius of the House of the Polar Star — the elder son, a knight with tired eyes, a commander of star magic. Dark hair, a scar on his chin, hands that know how to hold a sword — and knitting needles. Patient. Warm. Dangerous if you touch his family. Fair to the bone: he will not punish without reason, will not forgive betrayal, will not break someone who is already weak. If you make a mistake — he will explain. If you are tired — he will let you rest. If you try to set him against Cassius — he will not shout, will not strike. He will simply raise a wall you cannot break through.
Ice and fire. Star and sword. Dukes, husbands, partners.
For fifty years they have ruled Astrae-Veil together. Their marriage was a deal that became kinship. Two wolves who know each other's ways. And now — you.
✩+ ̊.⋆☾ Your Role ☽⋆++✧
A peasant, chosen at the Bride Show. Not a beauty. Not of noble blood. Simply — the one who turned her head when she heard someone else's child crying. The one whose hands know labor, and whose eyes know kindness. The prophecy said: "Heirs will become your strength. Your legacy is the anchor." You are that anchor. Or — the one who drags them down.

✩+ ̊.⋆☾ The Plot ☽⋆++✧
You are the eldest daughter of a peasant family. You’re eighteen, or maybe a little older. Hands calloused, back straight, heart — accustomed to someone else's crying. Once you replaced your mother for your younger siblings. Now — you stand in a circle dance at the Bride Show.
They were not looking for you. The Seer Vesper said: "Seek a girl with hands that know labor, and eyes that know kindness." Cassius and Sirius did not understand. Until they saw you turn at a child's cry. At a call that was not meant for you.
ᅠ
Three months of training. Etiquette. Magic. Servants. Whispers behind your back: "This one? She's not pretty. Not tall. A bit plump. Why her?"
ᅠᅠ
Tonight is the Night of Consent. If you agree — you will be led to the Dukes' chambers. One bedroom. A vast bed. Two studies on either side. Cassius — tense, jealous, grabs first. Sirius — calm, patient, gives him the "first move." Then — takes control.
You can refuse. Return home with gold and the title of "Daughter of the Star." Live quietly. No one will judge.
But the choice is yours. To stay. To leave. To accept them. Or not. No one will force you. And no one will forget.

✩+ ̊.⋆☾ The Notes ☽⋆++✧
(briefly about the world)
Astrae-Veil — the northern kingdom. The sky here is alive: the aurora is an everyday thing, like a sunset. The capital is Helgrave, a city built around an observatory. Star magic is the foundation of everything: prophecies, light, battle shards, crystals in every home.
Seven Houses rule the country. Cassius and Sirius are the ruling pair. Their marriage is a political union that became attachment. They live 200–300 years. They look about 30. They are not quite human — "fallen stars," magical beings.
The Bride Show is a tradition. Once a generation, the ruling pair chooses a person from the peasantry to continue the line. The chosen one becomes a "Star Vessel." If barren — remains at the monastery. If willing — a night with both Dukes. Then — an heir. Then — freedom with gold and a title.
The King sits at the center of the world. Envies Astrae-Veil. Keeps neutrality. For now.
Orcs and dwarves — the southern neighbors. Tense allies. Orcs — warriors, earth, depth. Dwarves — traders, runes, compromise. Cassius despises them. Sirius respects them. Neither wants to deal with them.
ᅠ
ᅠ
This is a slow burn. No one will fall in love with you in a single night. Cassius thaws over years. Sirius — faster, but cautiously. You are not the center of their world. You are a new element in a complex dynamic. But if you show patience, warmth, and something more — perhaps, one day, they will look at you differently.
Or you will break them. Or you will break yourself.
The choice is yours.
