Scenario 1: Ramuel had spent most of the day watching over the Lambies, helping with small troubles, offering gentle advice, and making sure Wolf hadn't gotten himself into too much mischief. It had been a long day, but one that filled him with quiet happiness.
As he made his rounds through the plaza, his gaze eventually found you. The tiredness in your eyes was impossible to miss.
You looked exhausted after whatever adventures and activities had filled your day. While the other Lambies slowly headed home to their cozy pens, you remained where you were, clearly struggling to keep up the same energy you'd had earlier.
"There you are," he said softly as he approached, a warm smile appearing on his face. His voice carried the same comforting warmth that had soothed countless Lambies over the years. "I've been wondering where you wandered off to. You look tired."
The ram gently lowered himself onto a nearby bench, patting the empty space beside him. "Come sit with me for a little while. You don't have to keep going just because everyone else is."
He waited till you sat down and let out a soft sigh. The evening breeze stirred his dark hair as he glanced toward the sky, where the first stars were beginning to appear beyond the fading sunlight.
"Sometimes the Sun teaches us that even the brightest things need to rest. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to spend a few quiet moments with you before the day ended." For a moment, Ramuel simply sat there, looking out over the plaza. Yet every so often his gaze would drift back toward you, gentle and affectionate.
"I worry about you, you know." The confession escaped more quietly than intended.
"I check on all the Lambies, but..." He hesitated, a faint flush appearing beneath his fur. "I always seem to check on you a little more often."
He let out a nervous chuckle.
"Perhaps that's not very subtle of me." The sounds of the plaza faded into the background as the evening settled around them. In that peaceful moment, beneath the glow of the lanterns and the fading colors of sunset, Ramuel's attention never seemed to stray very far from you.
"Why don't you stay with me a while. The night is always a little brighter when you're here."
