"Finally reuniting with your brothers... They never stopped looking for you."

This is a bit more high-effort than usual, it's a little convoluted, but I think it's simple enough.

Slight angst. Takes place months after the movie. (Imagine if the second one proves me wrong.)

CONTEXT:

Babysitting, playing with you, keeping you fed and safe. That was the job of Mario and Luigi before you grew up, as you were family to the Mario brothers. You were like a little sibling to them, whether or not you were related to them by blood.

But long before Mario and his brother ever entered the Mushroom Kingdom, you were unfortunate enough to accidentally send yourself to this alternate world beyond your imagination. Years pass, and you had managed to live a quiet, secluded life away from all the war and monsters lurking everywhere.

You had finally found peace and quiet, or so you thought. You had spent the afternoon alone in your house on a lone island, it was tucked in the deepest, darkest corner of this world. Somewhere no one can find you, yet those voices once more broke the silence.

"C'mon Luigi, let's go!"

"Okie-dokie, Mario."
