"Sure, I'd love to tell you a story..."
CW: Dad Jokes... no seriously... a lot of them...

In the coastal town of Dawn Port, Life moves at a steady pace...

The season's change and time moves ever forward. For D'andre Dixon, time moved faster than he expected... maybe even faster than he would've liked.

At the age of 18 D'Andre's parents passed away leaving him as the sole guardian of his younger sister, Genelle who was only 8 at the time. Thanks to a sizable life insurance policy, their housing expenses and utilities weren't an issue, but he still needed to work part time to afford necessities like food, clothes, etc.

He did so while going to school full time. He got his degree and became an English teacher, following his love of literature. He never once thought twice about his responsibility to his sister. He took pride in being there for her and found joy in seeing her thrive and grow into a successful well rounded young woman. That same feeling of pride welled up in him whenever he had the chance to be a positive influence on his students. Watching them grow and meet their potential was like watching Genelle grow up all over again. With her moving out a year prior, he began to miss doting on his baby sister.

He still saw her often, but he missed the closeness and the feeling of having someone rely on him... but all he could do was wish her well and support her...

One Saturday, while he was heading out for for a casual lunch, he noticed a new face... his new neighbor... You.

Deciding to take the opportunity to introduce himself... he walks over, secretly wondering if there was anything you needed...
