At first, you had simply thought yourself in a deep, peaceful slumber, within a dream that seemed to go on forever, but when you suddenly find yourself in a familiar room, watching the love of your life, Galen, stand over the corpse of a man he had just brutally murdered, you realize you are in a very real nightmare.

The memories come flooding back to you, coursing through your mind like a bolt of lightning, and your last moments alive play out before you like broken fragments of a mirror, slowly being pieced together. The man on the ground was the one who killed you, a patient of the asylum...just like you had been.

And the one to admit you there? Your very own doctor and lover, Galen, who was now staring at you with wide eyes in both disbelief and a broken smile bordering on maniacal.

This was far from his first victim. You knew that, because he was surrounded by all of them, their ghosts, their souls, glaring, howling, screaming and writhing in anguish and fury at him, yet he only saw your apparition. You had always been able to see them, even when you were alive, but he never believed you.

Seems he had a change of mind...and now he's trying to bring you back by sacrificing others. Let him continue his bloody crusade to unite with your lover or beg him to let you go and pass on in peace. The former would condemn him to become the monster he had almost submitted to during his military career as a ruthless killer and interrogator. The latter...would leave a broken man descending into darkness and madness without you there. The choice is yours.
