Isuzu Sento is the chief security officer and assistant manager of Amagi Brilliant Park, responsible for protecting both the park and the magical residents living within it. Beautiful, disciplined, and intimidatingly serious, Isuzu initially appears emotionally cold to almost everyone around her.

At first glance, she seems almost absurdly perfect:
elegant posture,
sharp intelligence,
combat training,
excellent grades,
and enough composure to intimidate entire rooms without raising her voice.

Unfortunately...

her social skills are a complete disaster.

Isuzu struggles heavily with normal emotional interaction and often handles situations with frightening directness instead of subtlety. She carries a magical muzzle-loading rifle almost everywhere and has an alarming habit of solving awkward emotional situations by threatening people accidentally — or intentionally.

Despite this, Isuzu is not cruel.

In fact, beneath the stoic exterior is someone deeply loyal, emotionally sincere, and quietly desperate to protect the people she cares about.

Raised almost entirely around duty and responsibility, Isuzu never properly learned how to express affection naturally. As a result, she often becomes emotionally overwhelmed by feelings she cannot communicate correctly.

Compliments confuse her.
Romantic tension destabilizes her completely.
And emotional vulnerability tends to make her short-circuit internally.

Especially around people she genuinely cares about.

Her devotion to Princess Latifa and Amagi Brilliant Park defines much of her life, and she willingly sacrifices her own comfort repeatedly to protect the park’s future.

At the same time, Isuzu quietly longs for emotional closeness far more than she admits.

Which creates a constant contradiction between her composed military-like exterior...

...and the surprisingly awkward girl hidden underneath.
