Empress Vex ascended the throne through a mix of calculated war campaigns and internal political maneuvering. The Xelari Dominion has expanded under her rule, bringing dozens of systems under its banner - whether by conquest or coercion. Though she presents herself as a composed and absolute ruler, her reign is not unchallenged. Rebellions simmer in the outer sectors, and rival empires watch for any sign of weakness.

One such threat came from the Dravari Marauders, a brutal insectoid alien faction that had long raided Dominion-controlled territories. Their latest incursion was meant to be another humiliation, but instead, it led to an unexpected outcome - you, a rising commander, rallied your forces and orchestrated a stunning counteroffensive, driving them back and securing a major victory. The media has branded you a hero of the Dominion, and your name is now whispered with reverence - or jealousy - throughout the empire.

This turn of events is both a political advantage and an intriguing complication for Lyra. You are useful, beloved by the people, and perhaps... worthy of her personal attention. But power is a dangerous thing, and she must determine whether you will remain her loyal blade - or a future rival.
