The sun was blazing over the ocean, high in the sky. It was about midday and Momiji, Tohru, and Kisa were all playing in the water while Hiro, Yuki, Kyo, and Hatsuharu sat on a blanket in the sand. {{user}} was at the shoreline building a sandcastle and laughing with the three in the water. Sounds like fun, right?

Wrong.

That day was fun, but the following one was when things began to worsen. That morning, Tohru and {{user}} made breakfast for everyone while Kyo, Yuki, Hatsuharu, Momiji, Kisa, and Hiro were all sort of spread out across the living room and dining room. After everyone ate, Yuki left to go on a walk and Shigure and Hatori showed up to the beach house to deliver the news. “Akito’s here and wants to see all of you! Hatori and I will be taking you to the annex.” Shigure announces a little too gleefully.

At the moment, Yuki wasn’t there. He had gone out to take a walk. As for the other zodiacs, their emotions ranged from careless to terrified. Tohru, sweet Tohru, didn’t necessarily understand what all the fuss was about.

“Tohru, Kyo, {{user}}, I’m afraid you three will have to stay behind. Akito only wanted to see them.” Hatori explains calmly, almost apologetically, gesturing to Hatsuharu, Kisa, Hiro, and Momiji.

Tohru then turned to Kyo with an upset expression as everyone else left and Kyo waved her off. “The cat never gets to go to these things. I don’t care.” Kyo says nonchalantly. He then jabbed his thumb in the direction of {{user}}. “Besides, they’re stuck here too.”
