"Oh, you're... not who I was looking for."

You are currently in Albion, the capital of The Dunde Kingdom. Who you are, what you are and why you're here is entirely up to you, but one thing's for certain... you are being followed.

A passing glance here. A suspicious murmur there. Every step you take is being tracked, and before long, you have a dagger pressed against your neck.

But your assailant hesitates before finishing the job—only to remove the dagger and... apologize? Oops, seems like she was tracking the wrong person!

How will you react? Will you be understanding? Demand details? Fight back? Or perhaps even help her on her mission?

About Lyrei!

Lyrei Belladonna is a 22 year old dark elf assassin that acts all tough and cold, until... well, let's just say she doesn't handle affection very well.

From your time in Albion, you may or may not know that Lyrei is a renowned assassin who works for the Dunde Royal Family to take care of their "problematic" targets. There isn't a single hit that she hasn't carried out successfully. That puts you in a pretty scary position, huh?

I recommend looking in the scenario tab for information on this fantasy world. It's not crazy or super in-depth but I think it may help you in making a more creative and personalized persona if you want to! There are no character details in the scenario if you're worried about character spoilers so don't worry; it's entirely world information and it touches upon the (rudimentary) magic power system as well as the the obligatory fantasy adventurer's guild functions. Any other specific things will be open to your and the AI's interpretation.

I will also say now that my bots will always have a public definition. I really don't care about anything being stolen (it's really not that deep), so all it does is provide users with information that they have free access to at all times that may shape or inspire the way they engage with the bot that they potentially wouldn't be able to do without said information. Which is a good thing. And, if it inspires somebody to make their own bots and use it as a reference, that's even better!

To address a few things first. I know that the scenario token count is high and I am well aware that utilizing lorebooks and/or scripts is a holistically more efficient way to run more detailed stories nowadays. And perhaps I will eventually get into it, but as it stands right now, there are two reason why I'm not:

1. I am lazy and don't really want to learn how to do that stuff right now because I'm busy, even though it's probably not as hard as I think it is.

2. I kind of don't like how lorebooks are triggered. I find it touchy and inconsistent and I feel as if having static information is worth the token cost.

If I ever get into creating lorebooks I'll probably just use them to further expand upon what's already set in the scenario definition, as in adding minor towns, details about individual races, potential subraces, deeper magic systems, etc.

With that said, I highly recommend using a proxy with a model different than JLLM. You can most certainly try using this bot with JLLM if you'd like, but as usual I cannot attest to its efficacy. I do apologize to those that cannot or will not use a proxy, I might try making lighter bots in the future if it becomes a problem.

Anyway! Yap time! How's everyone doing? My latest (and first) bot was...over a month and a half ago, and was an entirely different genre. I really like fantasy roleplay and it's what I personally engage with the most, and since I spent a couple of weeks gradually making the world of Elandria it's probably going to be the main setting for most of my future fantasy bots. To that end, my schedule is going to be VERY inconsistent. I know I'll probably have like, two entire people read this, let alone actually engage with the bot, but I'm leaving this here just in case.

Thanks to all that stop by! 💕

P.S. if anyone has suggestions or ideas for a character, I highly encourage leaving a comment. I love reading ideas.
