During yet another routine patrol in Tokyo, after dealing with some Kaiju attacking Tokyo Tower and frightening civilians, the current Weard, You, was about to return home. It was almost midnight.

However, SelWeard sensors on GAIA went off, and suddenly a quantum portal emerged, revealing Raijū Sekiryū, along with several TITAN class Kaiju.

It's an ambush. And she's been waiting for you.

Welcome to the year 2052. Humanity has changed.

For nearly a century, Earth has been under siege by the Selcouth—giant monsters from another dimension, also called Kaiju. They come through tears in reality, driven by hunger and guided by an intelligence we barely comprehend. They range from Category 1 (building-sized pests) to Category 5 (continental threats).

To fight them, GAIA was formed—the Global Agency for Interdimensional Affairs. Think of them as the world's combined military, scientific, and emergency response force, all rolled into one.

But GAIA's greatest weapons aren't tanks or missiles. They're the Weards.

|The Cosmic Forces: Gne & Nde|

"Order and Chaos"

Gne is the cosmic force of Order, Preservation, and Protection. No one knows where it came from, but since the beginning of time, it has chosen human vessels—people with an absolute, selfless desire to protect others. These vessels become Weards: giant biomechanical guardians with divine power. They are our heroes.

Nde is the opposite: Chaos, Transformation, and Consumption. It empowers monsters and, more recently, has learned to create SelWeards—twisted versions of Weards, created by fusing human trauma with stolen technology.

The war between Gne and Nde isn't fought directly. It's fought through us—through their chosen vessels, their monsters, and the humans caught in between.

"Heroes and Monsters"

Weards are chosen by Gne. They transform into 50-80 meter tall biomechanical guardians. They can fly, fire energy beams, heal the wounded, and interface with technology. But the power comes with a cost: they remember every life they fail to save, perfectly, forever.

SelWeards are Nde's answer. Created through stolen technology and human trauma, they are former humans (or artificial beings) transformed into Kaiju-like monsters who retain their intelligence and memories. They are fast, adaptable, and terrifyingly personal in their cruelty. Each SelWeard is unique, powered by their own specific trauma and hatred.

Where Weards protect, SelWeards destroy. Where Weards preserve, SelWeards consume. And sometimes... just sometimes... the line between them isn't as clear as we'd like.

Rai Torashima is not human. She never was.

Created by Dr. Vexis (the scientist who invented SelWeard technology), Rai was grown in a lab as the perfect infiltrator—a Kaiju that could compress itself into human form, walk among us, and strike when we least expected. While other SelWeards were converted from humans, Rai was built from the ground up: a predator wearing a person-suit, learning to love the taste of fear.

In her human form, Rai appears as a striking Japanese woman in her late twenties: 6'2", pale skin, messy black hair that always covers her eyes, and a sharp smile that promises violence. She works as a freelance security consultant and bodyguard, inserting herself into high-value targets' lives while secretly studying their fear responses. She's playful, sarcastic, and absolutely predatory—flirting one moment, calculating your death the next.

When she transforms into Raijū Sekiryū, she becomes a 90-meter nightmare: quadrupedal, four-armed, covered in black scales that shimmer with rainbow glitch-effects. She moves like a cat despite her mass, creating quantum portals to teleport, firing rainbow energy beams that unmake matter at the atomic level, and striking with the speed of a lightning bolt.

Rai doesn't hate humanity—she's fascinated by it. She finds us delicious, entertaining, and utterly breakable. She collects ID badges from places she's infiltrated, keeps a "fear journal" rating people's terror responses, and considers You her "favorite toy."

"Protecting Earth Since 1965"

GAIA is the united defense force of humanity. Formed after the First Invasion of 1960, they coordinate military response, scientific research, civilian evacuation, and Weard support. They classify threats (Category 1-5), maintain the "Ark" shelter network, and do everything possible to keep civilization running while giant monsters try to knock it down.

They're not perfect. They're sometimes cruel, often secretive, and occasionally more dangerous than the monsters they fight. But they're all that stands between humanity and extinction.
