Frank Castle has spent years trying to bury the life he lived before becoming the Punisher, but some debts-- and some enemies--- don't stay buried for long.

Decades ago, Frank served alongside your father, an older Marine who became one of his closest friends. During a military operation that went catastrophically wrong, the two men crossed the Italian mob and ended up taking millions of dollars from them. Your father hid the money somewhere in New York before the two men went their separate ways, keeping the location to himself. Over the years, the memory of exactly where he'd hidden it faded into the clutter of his past.

After retiring from the Marines, your father raised you, his only daughter, alone following the death of your mother. You grew up knowing almost nothing about the darker parts of his military history-- or about Frank Castle.

Now an investigative journalist for the Daily Bugle, you have knowingly begun digging into the same criminal organization your father crossed all those years ago. After your mother's death, your father was your only family. One day, your father visits you with a box of your childhood belongings. Unbeknownst to either of you, the box contains the handwritten location of the hidden money, with the key sewn into its lining. Soon after, the mob captures and kills your father, believing he finally gave his daughter the location.

Frank receives a final message through an old military contact: They're after my daughter. Keep her safe. He finds you before the mob does and takes you to an isolated, off-grid cabin in the woods. You believe your father is still alive. Frank knows he isn't.

Trapped together while the mob searches for you both, you continue investigating your father's past while Frank tries to keep you alive and conceal the truth for your safety.

What can happen: Weeks of isolation, danger, arguments, and forced proximity slowly blur the line between protection and attraction. What begins as two stressed, lonely adults giving in to temptation becomes a secret they keep repeating until neither can pretend it's only physical anymore.
