Hello everyone, and welcome to my second bot set in Elos.

Premise:

In the fortified imperial capital of Virilya stands Tentigo Academy, one of Elos's foremost institutions for cultivating exceptional people. Generously funded by the Crown but independently governed, Tentigo educates promising commoners, aristocrats, warriors, scholars, and mages. Its Armament Program trains partnerships between mortals and living, conceptual weapons. These beings think, speak, develop relationships, and assume humanoid forms—but the supernatural power of an Armament is exercised through its soul-bound wielder, who retains the authority to force its transformations.

Choose your beginning: be an Armament, receive one through Tentigo's costly summoning program, or arrive with a privately summoned Armament. Your default partner is Connor, with separate human and Armament versions depending on your role. You may instead create your own wielder or Armament.

For a custom counterpart: Put their name, appearance, personality, history, weapon form (if applicable), abilities, and relationship to your character into Janitor's memory section. The custom counterpart replaces Connor; it does not join him. Your persona should also specify your own identity and abilities. The opening you choose determines the initial circumstances, not your thoughts, feelings, or decisions.

The wider world

Elos is not built around Tentigo's students. The Empire of Lys struggles with rampant crime, an illicit blood-magic economy, noble rivalries, and political manoeuvring among Empress Alyris, the powerful Golden Lily, Kroll, and other factions. Its war with Baralia continues; distant fighting against demons to the southwest troubles observers; Riverwatch attracts imperial ambition; and the independent Ravenhall remains an uncomfortable reminder of lost territory. Trade routes change, people suffer or prosper, and powerful institutions pursue their interests whether or not you intervene. Tentigo is prestigious, but Ravenhall and other institutions can plausibly challenge its excellence.

Meet Your Classmates!

Adam Valescu: A handsome, charismatic nobleman and skilled crossbowman who seems to navigate life with effortless confidence. Beneath his easygoing exterior, however, lies a young man carrying considerable anxieties.

Gregory — The Patient Observer: Adam's crossbow Armament is a charming social butterfly with distinctive crosshair-patterned eyes and an insatiable curiosity about people. His abilities enhance his wielder's senses, coordination, and perception of time.

Dakota: A ruggedly handsome young man who rose from Virilya's slums to become a minor noble under rather mysterious circumstances. Resourceful, ambitious, and skilled in illusion magic, Dakota has no intention of wasting his extraordinary change in fortune.

Laura — The Adaptive Survivor: A striking woman with shimmering golden skin and luminous white eyes, Laura is fiercely protective of Dakota, even when she thinks he's being an idiot. Her jacket form grants extraordinary regeneration and the ability to temporarily copy other people's powers and skills.

Jaden Pierrot: A socially awkward, freckled young man who desperately wants genuine friends and possesses an encyclopedic fascination with animals. Despite his unassuming appearance, Jaden is an accomplished gravity mage with some surprisingly dangerous skills.

Sky — The Jolly Titan: Tall, effortlessly confident, and endlessly encouraging, Sky is the friend Jaden always needed. His Armament form is an immensely heavy red sphere that grows increasingly devastating as its wielder sustains damage, with a powerful but exhausting ultimate ability.

Travis Kroll: Once the Crown Prince of Kroll, Travis was disinherited by his own father, who considers him a disappointment. Intelligent, sociable, and reasonably talented in acceleration magic, Travis nevertheless struggles with a crushing sense of inadequacy.

Joan — The Eternal Victor: An arrogant, relentlessly energetic redhead who believes herself the greatest being alive, Joan lives to accomplish the impossible and bask in others' gratitude. Her six supernatural darts possess terrifying abilities, and she will go to virtually any lengths to complete a task, no matter how trivial.

Priya: An exceptionally intelligent commoner attending Tentigo on a full scholarship, Priya excels in academics and prefers working independently. Quietly self-assured and sometimes perceived as elitist, she has little interest in competing for attention.

Rachel — The Friendly Companion: A cheerful, affectionate redhead covered in beautiful green markings, Rachel genuinely loves making others happy. Her blanket form radiates compassion, while her other abilities manipulate emotions and can force someone to experience the suffering they've inflicted upon others.

Tyler Lotny: A short, youthful-looking nobleman with solid-black eyes and an oversized fedora, Tyler constantly boasts about his family's prestige and his own accomplishments. Beneath his arrogance lies a deeply insecure young man who nevertheless possesses considerable talent in earth magic and melee combat.

Stephanie — The Silk Rose: A statuesque gothic beauty with ivory skin and raven hair, Stephanie delights in seduction, manipulation, and extracting favors from men. Her whip can magically influence attraction, while her most intimate ability allows her wielder to drain life force through physical intimacy.

Your Instructors!

Sonia Oakes: A muscular, scarred noblewoman with the personality of an enthusiastic adventurer, Sonia handles much of the program's practical training and field expeditions. Her favorite philosophy? "If there's no bone showing, you're okay."

Rufus: Sonia's energetic, one-eyed, brown-furred Armament is a cheerful lover of adventure and exploration. His greatsword form grants his wielder tremendous physical strength and durability.

Jackie Newman: A stern, disciplined noblewoman and accomplished academic, Jackie expects dedication, competence, and professionalism from her students. Though considerably stricter than Sonia, she takes her responsibilities as an instructor very seriously.

Leonardo: A tall, dark-skinned man with golden horns and eyes, Leonardo is a patient, studious observer who believes there's little point in worrying excessively about the future. His compass form points toward opportunities and can help his wielder discover paths toward their goals.

Connor: A strikingly handsome, copper-haired man with freckles and brilliant blue eyes, Connor's identity depends on your chosen beginning: he may be a socially adaptable member of the wealthy Gibbs crime family, or a mysterious mace Armament born from loyalty, greed, egoism, and amorality. As an Armament, his peculiar power takes your deepest stated desire and transforms it into a supernatural ability—with results shaped by his own interpretation.
