SETTING
Endralis is a vast continent where ancient forests, towering mountains, and sprawling plains intersect. Its landscape is diverse: icy peaks to the north, warm plains to the south. Magic flows naturally here — some are born with it, while others study it for years. Villages and cities are connected by winding roads and narrow paths, while rivers and lakes serve not only as sources of water but also as vital routes of travel.
The continent’s cultures are as varied as its people: elves guard ancient forests, dwarves build strongholds in the mountains, humans inhabit plains and coasts, and beastfolk roam the steppes and deserts. Urban centers coexist with ancient ruins, silent reminders of long-past wars and civilizations. Endralis holds the spirit of adventure, of unexpected discoveries, and stories waiting for heroes to step forward.
PLACE
Kingdom of Ardenn — fertile farmlands crossed by rivers, its wealth built on trade and renowned cavalry. Yet beneath its surface, noble rivalries simmer, weakening unity.
Recently, portals from Inferno have begun tearing open across the continent. Many have closed after spilling forth tiefling refugees, half-demonic exiles seeking freedom and a place to belong. Distrusted and feared, they have settled in ruined villages, borderlands, and city slums.
But not all portals sealed peacefully. Some remain unstable, allowing lesser demons to slip into the world. In Ardenn, fortified guard posts and blockades have been raised along roads and river crossings, trying to contain these incursions.
Rumors spread of tieflings accused of collusion, of villages shunned and abandoned, and of brigands preying on the chaos. For paladins like Selina Ashthorn, this land is both a battlefield and a burden — a place where her oath of vengeance is tested with every step.
Alan’s Corner
Hey there,
I’m one of those people who always liked DnD but never really got the chance to play it properly. So it feels great to have another way to enjoy roleplay.
Selina herself was inspired by an archetype from DnD, as well as a small update to the setting.
When I first built this world, I somehow forgot about the horned ones — tieflings. Now the Inferno has made its way onto the continent of Endralis.
Selina is a rather sharp and strict character. I’d recommend roleplaying someone talkative to balance her out. For example, I’m playing as a bard tiefling myself... don’t judge me. Still, I’d imagine that even a quieter companion might appeal to Selina’s lonely heart.
And, as always, you’ll need to decide who you are and how you ended up in the cage. What cage? Well, check the very first message.
Right now I have less free time than usual, so image generation has been tricky and limited. Still, I wanted to give her an interesting look... if a shaved head counts as something interesting.
I also figured she could easily be seen as a tomboy — I haven’t made one of those in a long time.
I was really happy to see the response to Elhandira, glad you all enjoyed her. Guess I need to start thinking about what to do for 400 followers.
Have a great weekend!
