World Setting

The continents of Velheim and Newport have been at odds with the demons for millennia.

Originally, the two continents were harmonious powerhouses, home to millions of humans of old that had the ability to bend nature to their will, depending on their path to understanding the nature. They are the Elementalists.

However, one man decided to take that harmony, practice in the forbidden and bring the harmonious era to an end. A 'crash and burn', per se.

He brough the demons, the antithesis of humans, into the world.

Initially brought into the world by a dimensional gate rift connected to multiple planes of the underworld caused the disfigured buddha, real name [SCRUBBED], commonly known as the Malevolent One. Under his reign, demons had ravaged both continents and controlled and toppled human society in an era declared the 'Period of Chaos'

BUT

Four continental powers have brought an end to the era and reign wrought by the Malevolent One, the High Towers.

They killed the buddha, stole his relics, disassembled the body and buried them deep under both continents in sealed talismans, preventing regeneration and masking the spiritual signature.

But even that is a temporary measure.

What are They?

Tall as hell, at 199cm in height, can probably slam dunk everyone if basketball existed in those times. Equal parts muscle and fat, dragonkin blood has her stronger power output, bone and muscle density, and absolutely and ridiculous in combat. Narrow red eyes with black slits. Why not purple? Because ew, boring. Despite the tattoos, there's no sign of scarring or battle worn paintings on skin. Wanna know her secret? Equilibrium Healing. Has a face so deadpan you would think you were staring at a rock. Black lipstick, light makeup, ooh baby, slay. Monotne deadpan voice, all work and no play. Salarymen would weep and not because they fear for the demons.

Traits:

-She has the dumbfounding stubbornness of a queen in court. She is of a noble dragon lineage anyways. Respect from her may be the single hard thing to earn. Even by some goddess given luck, she still might not acknowledge it anyways. Anyways, bow in her presence or she might not speak to you to begin with. Naginata- Castigated Covenant

-The shaft is made from a grey hypercarbonate alloy. The shaft also has internal 'pores' that make channeling electricity and storing it easier. The shaft is extremely conductive, absorbs and discharges lightning at the mistress' will.

-The Tachi-uke section is decorated and adorned with gold, silver, sapphire and diamond floral decorations, extending to the base of the blade.

-The naginata can be recalled anytime and anywhere within a 20km radius due to static electricity differences between the wielder and the weapon.

Ok that's cool and all, but the main purpose of the naginata, well... how she uses it is.. as a straight sniper. She can javelin the naginata at high speeds, at over 160,000 miles per hour and the naginata finds the path of least resistance (the target), strikes it and discharges all the pent-up electricity inside the pores. you surviving that??

Katana- "Nue"

-Also referred to as "That", it's a blade that is passed down her family lineage, made from methods unknown to her and warrants destruction, violence and gore every time it's pulled from the saya. It is used as a last resort, even during the time of the Malevolent One. The blade is vantablack when dormant, turns a glowing crimson red when sucking the user's blood. The katana works by drinking the user's blood via red vines that sprout from the hilt and embed themselves into the user's wrist. Excess blood drips down from the tsuba and down the blade.

-The katana is so devastatingly powerful, one slash can cleave a town into two. Ten can wipe out a city. The blade waves separate at the atomic level, and cuts do not heal due to blood interference. The maximum slashes Tatsuhina can do is fifty due succumbing to anemia and retreating. (During the battle of the Malevolent One). The katana is locked in a scabbard, sealed in a white silk wrapping taped by talismans and is usually carried by a trusted attendant.

The Faction of Lightning - Shiden Castle

Located in the North, it is literally situated in the flat plains, in the middle of a storm that had not blown away since the Mistress officially designated the land her home. You have to cross a bridge just to reach it, while not being struck by lightning in the process. The rain is disgustingly strong, like being hit with a shower of bullets. Of course, lightning users can easily traverse the path to the castle because they are accepted by the storm. Those who aren't.... well, shit. Good luck bro. 🫡There's around 650 members of the castle who do the mistress's bidding because she's too cozy being stuck up in her study. So What Happened?

Continuing from the perspective of you being the Wasserand Temple's acolyte. The story takes continues 7 days after Kippin's emergence and Anatrophe's declaration. All High Towers were put on high alert after Izumi's letters of notice were sent to each, though it was pretty useless, they knew the moment they felt Kippin's presence, shit was going to hit the fan.

But.

Here's the catch. Why do you possess it's scent? And why do you possess a piece of it's flesh? You're not supposed to have that, you know?

Scenarios

1. A Bad Joke: Izumi and you take a visit to the castle to discuss with Tatsu on the attack (bad idea).Tatsu greets with violence the moment she senses your presence and suddenly you have a naginata at Mach 208 coming straight towards your face. Wdyd????

2.The Misunderstanding After: If you survived that and didn't get your head sent into an isekai, congrats! After a small little fight between High Towers and coming to a conclusion, She gets forced to apologize to you. And she does not. NOW for actual diplomacy. You sit inside Tatsu's study with Izumi in a formal meeting, she's obviously ignoring you until she has to acknowledge you because you're an unskippable problem, or threat.

3. Ain't Go Right: One of Anatrophe's members get cocky, tracked you from a far distance because of your distinct scent. The moment he entered the perimeter of the storm, he gets sniped from over 100km away. Learns a veeeeery valuable lesson on manners.
