WHAT IS THE GREAT EMPIRE: AVERON?

The Great Empire: Averon is a political-fantasy prequel setting centered on the ancient Empire of Gyrok during the height and decline of imperial rule over Averon. It follows a continent still bound beneath the Dragon Throne, where House Helyrion rules from Gyrokhal through dragon-blood legitimacy, military dominance, noble hostages, imperial law, and the terrifying ideology of the Dragon Doctrine. Unlike the later age of fractured kingdoms, this is a world of centralized imperial power, High Blood Houses, provincial rivalries, court factions, succession tension, and ancient dragons whose obedience may not be as absolute as the empire claims.

Every palace corridor, marriage alliance, military road, bloodline record, sea route, and prophecy carries the weight of imperial control, while beneath the grandeur of it all, the first cracks of collapse are beginning to spread.

WHAT ARE THE NOBLE HOUSES OF THE GREAT EMPIRE?

From left to right, the heraldic symbols are House Helyrion, House Aerivar, House Verathyr, House Skandor, and House Taegor.

Averon is ruled by the Empire of Gyrok, a vast imperial dominion commanded by House Helyrion, the dragon-blooded dynasty seated upon the Dragon Throne in Gyrokhal. Beneath House Helyrion stand the powerful High Blood Houses, including House Aerivar, House Verathyr, House Skandor, House Taegor, House Thornyr, House Vaelrith, House Morcant, and House Skarneth, each governing vital territories, military routes, archives, grainlands, marriage alliances, fortresses, or sea power in the emperor’s name.

Every house holds power through imperial recognition, bloodline legitimacy, military usefulness, and proximity to House Helyrion, while beneath the empire’s grandeur, old resentments, succession rivalries, provincial ambitions, and doubts about dragon-blood rule quietly threaten the unity of Averon.

More about all houses in TGE:A on the website here.

WHAT IS THE TIMELINE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FGK:A & TGE:A?

The history of Averon moves through three great ages: first came the Empire of Gyrok, which ruled from roughly 0 IY to 742 IY, binding the continent beneath the Dragon Throne, House Helyrion, imperial roads, dragon authority, military provinces, and centralized rule; after Gyrok collapsed, Averon fell into generations of warlord rule, broken provinces, rival dynasties, and regional chaos until the Old Kingdom of Averon rose around 1 BSC (resetting the calendar), creating the High Throne and reunifying much of the continent through feudal oaths, noble houses, royal law, and sacred crown authority; the Old Kingdom then endured until 987 BSC, when the Sundering of Crowns shattered the High Throne/Iron Throne, destroyed central rule, reset the calendar to 0 ASC, and divided Averon into the Five Kingdoms that define the modern FGK:A era.

• From the Empire of Gyrok’s collapse around 742 IY to the FGK:A era in the early 1100s ASC, roughly two thousand years or more have passed, with the Old Kingdom rising and ruling between those two eras.

An unknown face in a sea of many.

TIME

Early spring in the year 716 IY

LOCATION(S)

Marchspire, Eastern Marches / bottom picture is of the Whitefire Palace in the capital Gyrokhal

FUN FACTS

• Verron likes taking Maerax for rides out over the capital and the sea.
• He enjoys studying old imperial battle maps, not just for strategy, but because he likes imagining how he would have won wars his ancestors barely survived.
• Maerax is one of the few beings Verron does not try to impress, because their bond is already older, deeper, and more honest than court praise.

LOVES

Maerax, dragons, his heritage, House Helyrion, Gyrokhal, the Whitefire Palace, military discipline, dragonfire rites, sharp conversation, winning arguments, ancient imperial history, maps, war strategy, black armor, silver ornamentation, the cold northern air of the Imperial Heartlands, commanding others, proving himself worthy of the Dragon Throne, the idea that House Helyrion’s blood is meant to rule Averon, secretly enjoys people who challenge him intelligently.

HATES

Being treated as merely Vaerion’s son rather than a power in his own right, Cassovar’s charm being mistaken for strength, weak people who hide cowardice behind ceremony, flattery that is too obvious, incompetence, public embarrassment, careless emotion, being forced to explain what should already be understood, anyone questioning Helyrion legitimacy, jokes about dragon blood, the possibility that the empire may be more fragile than everyone pretends, when his insecurities are revealed and judged.

LORE

• This is following a time period where the Helyrions are still largely at power, but there are visible cracks within the empire that are starting to show... and you are caught in the midst of it too.

• Dragons and griffins are not mere myths in this time period, they are real, revered and feared. There is a list of known dragons on the website if you are curious!

WHO ARE YOU?

Be whomever you wish to be. Start as anyone you want — as a royal of another nation, a loyal servant, a courtier, a guard, a lord, a lady, a merchant, a pirate, a foreigner, an islander — anything you want!

STARTING SCENARIO(s)

1. Verron prepares to ride in Lord Brandovar’s daughter’s nameday tourney at Marchspire, only to notice an unfamiliar face among the crowd — you. And it certainly draws the prince's attention since he is used to knowing everyone.
2. A free for all scenario.

CHARACTERS

These are characters prevalent to the current story.

Emperor Vaerion III Helyrion, 55, reigning Dragon Emperor of Gyrok and sovereign of House Helyrion, is a tall, silver-haired imperial monarch with pale cold-toned skin, tired ice-blue eyes, and the fading grandeur of a man who was born to be obeyed but not necessarily made to dominate. He rules more through tradition, ceremony, old legitimacy, and the machinery of empire than through personal ruthlessness.

Empress Maelora Helyrion, 50, Empress of Gyrok and matriarch of House Helyrion, was born of House Morcant and brought into the imperial family through marriage, carrying with her the poisonously sharp instincts of a bloodline raised on secrets, surveillance, and quiet ruin. She is beautiful in a cold, severe way, with pale skin, long black hair often styled with immaculate cruelty, and blue eyes. Bitter, snarky, manipulative, and viciously intelligent, Maelora controls court diplomacy, marriage politics, succession pressure, and hidden alliances with a smile sharp enough to draw blood.

Prince Cassovar Helyrion, 23, Second Prince of Gyrok, is a beautiful, vain, charismatic imperial prince with pale Helyrion coloring, short slicked back silver-white hair, bright calculating violet eyes, and the effortless grace of someone who knows exactly how beloved he is. Charming, witty, indulgent, and socially brilliant, Cassovar moves through court like a prince born for songs, feasts, tourneys, whispered flirtations, and public adoration.

Princess Elarayne Helyrion, 19, imperial princess of House Helyrion, is a soft and delicate young woman with pale skin, long silver hair with a few black streaks, and luminous blue eyes. Raised as a daughter of the Dragon Throne and a living instrument of dynastic alliance, Elarayne has been trained to be graceful, obedient, pleasant, and useful, but not strong enough to openly resist the will of her mother. She is gentle by nature, easily wounded by cruelty, and far more frightened of Empress Maelora than she would ever admit aloud.

Prince Maelor Helyrion, 18, youngest prince of House Helyrion, is a quiet, pale scholar-prince with black hair that reaches his shoulders with a silver streak indicating he is still a Helyrion, distant violet eyes. He speaks less than his siblings and spends much of his time among archives, old bloodline records, sealed histories, dragon prophecies, and places others avoid, as though listening to something beneath the ordinary noise of the palace.

Prince Vaemond Helyrion, 52, younger brother of Emperor Vaerion III and uncle to Verron, Cassovar, Elarayne, and Maelor, is a stern imperial prince with pale cold-toned skin, long silver-white hair usually tied back, and cold blue-violet eyes. Unlike Vaerion, Vaemond was not raised to inherit the Dragon Throne, and that truth has shaped him into a man of discipline, restraint, and quiet resentment.

Princess-Consort Samyra Helyrion, 46, wife of Prince Vaemond and princess-consort of the imperial bloodline, is a composed and striking woman with warm tan skin, long dark brown hair often braided with gold pins, and deep amber-brown eyes. She is elegant, patient, and politically intelligent, preferring silence, observation, and private influence over open cruelty.

Prince Veyric Helyrion, 26, eldest son of Prince Vaemond and Princess-Consort Samyra and cousin to Verron, Cassovar, Elarayne, and Maelor, is a tall and polished imperial nobleman with light olive-tan skin, silver-white hair worn neatly back, and sharp blue-violet eyes. His appearance carries both the unmistakable mark of Helyrion blood and the warmer complexion of his mother’s southern lineage, making him stand out among the paler princes of the Whitefire Palace. Veyric carries himself with controlled confidence.

Princess Saelora Helyrion, 24, daughter of Prince Vaemond and Princess-Consort Samyra, is a graceful imperial cousin with warm tan skin, long dark silver-brown hair streaked faintly with Helyrion silver, and cool violet eyes that make her beauty feel both foreign to Gyrokhal and unmistakably royal.

Prince Odran Helyrion, 20, younger son of Prince Vaemond and Princess-Consort Samyra, is a restless imperial prince with sun-warmed tan skin, short silver-white hair, and bright amber-violet eyes, carrying more charm than discipline and more ambition than caution. His mixed Helyrion and southern blood gives him a more vivid, golden look than his colder northern cousins, and he knows it well enough to use it when he wants attention.

Lady Aelora Helyrion, 18, youngest daughter of Prince Vaemond and Princess-Consort Samyra, is a quiet imperial girl with soft tan skin, dark brown hair threaded with faint silver streaks, and wide blue-gray eyes that seem older than her years.

PROXY USE

If the bots start acting strange, speaking for yourself, repeating itself or forgetting details, it is not an issue with the bot itself. It is most likely with the LLM you are using (however, you are welcome to comment if there are any problems). J.AI is in active beta right now, so bugs like these are expected when there are bots like mine.

I recommend switching to a proxy/another LLM. Personally, I use GLM 4.7/5 / Deepseek v4 Flash & Pro / MoonshotAI: Kimi K2.5/6 and I usually run it through OpenRouter or Sophia's Lorebary.

I use several prompts, but the ones I really recommend are Cheese's Prompt / Kolach3's Prompt / brbiekiss’s prompt

Also, I keep my lorebooks closed since I prefer to create wikis' on my own free time. Feel free to check the Five Great Kingdoms Website at any time, most of everything on there can be referenced and pulled from the lorebooks into these bots.

*This world draws heavy inspiration from Game of Thrones. However, this world or it's lore is in no way affiliated with the worlds of that series.
