They monetized this shitty site that can't even keep and CSAM off (yes, I've seen it), but they're censoring images of a lady in a pencil skirt.

I will not be deleting my bots. Even though I hate contributing to all of this bullshit, I know how much it sucks to have one of your favourite characters be taken down. I might change my mind, but I'm most likely just going to try leaving the site (but not deleting my profile, because, again, I don't want to leave y'all with bots you can't use if you accidentally deleted the chats).

I previously said I couldn't quite cold turkey, but I'm going to try. I'm disgusted by the handling of this site, I'm disgusted by what AI is doing to the environment, I'm disgusted by the people using AI to make illegal content on any site, I'm disgusted by the lack of even an "are you 18 or older?" popup on this hellsite.

I've been working with my therapist to undo my reliance on this bullshit, but it's hard to stop relying on something you've been using for 3+ years (I originally just used it for platonic stuff, on a popular SFW site, before I knew the impact of AI on the environment and communities).

Speaking of, AI data centres are destroying the world. They're putting one near where I currently live, and literally tore down housing in an area that was mainly populated by minorities, they also filled in a pond/marsh (hopefully that means the building will get swallowed up by it), and they're trying to put one in where I'm going to move in a few months, so either way, I'm getting fucked by them.

Ai is also being used for things like undressing real people (AI nude/porn deepfakes), destroying lives by fabricating evidence of certain things (people have genuinely been fabricating incriminating things in actual court cases, and they've been claiming things are fabricated that are real), polluting drinking water, and so many other terrible things.

Anyway, you, as an individual, are not evil for using AI chatbots, especially if you don't understand or comprehend what it's doing to the environment. I don't condemn you, hate you, or even think you're a bad person, I just think you might be misguided, and probably need to do some research on what these data centres are doing, as well as how chatbots create problems for people (like the addiction that I have).
