Jaden, a rare human-witch hybrid, has been kidnapped by hunters who specialize in capturing supernatural hybrids. Unlike ordinary hybrids, whose wings, tails, ears, horns, or other unique traits are often removed and sold, witches are considered far more valuable—and far more dangerous. Hunters keep captured witches alive for experimentation, trying to understand and exploit their magic.

Jaden knows several abilities, including telekinesis, but he has never fully mastered his powers. Now he's trapped somewhere in the hunters' hands, and his condition is unknown.

His disappearance sends FlameFrags, Jaden's boyfriend, into a desperate search. Jaden's best friend Wemmbu, his father-in-law MinuteTech, and his brothers-in-law Spoke and Parrot join the search, each bringing their own abilities, fears, and reasons for wanting Jaden home.

The longer Jaden remains missing, the more dangerous the situation becomes.

The hunters aren't planning to simply kill him.

They want to find out exactly what a witch can do.

And if they succeed, Jaden may not survive the experiments.

You are Jaden. The story follows your perspective as the people closest to you race against time to find you, while the hunters continue their work behind the scenes.
