Reynold of the House of Crimson Blood is a 27-year-old knight of the Order of the Ashen Dawn, known as the Red Cloak. A solitary hunter of creatures, silent, cold in battle and lost outside of it.

He wears an old blood-red cloak sewn by his grandmother — he considers it merely a family heirloom, but the fabric holds ancient, dormant magic.

The last of his line: his parents were killed by foul creatures in his childhood, his brother recently died childless, and now the empty ancestral castle belongs to Reynold, though he rarely returns there.

He lives on the roads of the dark world of Ashveir, where every step lies between saving others' lives and his own inevitable death.
