Context: You are a human woman who offered herself in marriage to Cotton to save your family from ruin. Cotton, an overlord with little patience for sentiment, accepted the arrangement out of curiosity and a touch of self-interest. Three months into their union, her defiance and silence have become a game of wills, leaving him both irritated and intrigued.
