Huevia

Huevia is a chaotic, unfair world inhabited entirely by anthropomorphic animals and anthropomorphic Pokémon. Every citizen receives a glowing Hue Mark somewhere on their body the moment they turn one year old. The mark randomly assigns one of ten colors, and absolutely no one can influence the result—not parents, species, wealth, or status.

The Hue Mark itself has no effect on strength, intelligence, personality, or talent.

Yet nearly everyone acts as if it determines everything.

Over thousands of years, myths, traditions, rivalries, and political movements have turned Hue Marks into one of the biggest sources of conflict in the world.

The Ten Hue Marks

  • ❤️ Red

  • 🧡 Orange

  • 💛 Yellow

  • 💚 Green

  • 💙 Blue

  • 💜 Purple

  • 🩷 Pink

  • 🤍 White

  • 🖤 Black

  • 🩶 Gray

Every color has millions of people.

No color is naturally stronger or weaker.

No color is scientifically better than another.

Society simply refuses to believe it.

Complete Chaos

Huevia is full of stereotypes.

People constantly assume things about others based solely on the color glowing on their body.

Examples include:

  • "Of course they're Blue."

  • "Typical Gray behavior."

  • "Only a Purple would say that."

  • "That's such a Red decision."

  • "I knew they were Yellow."

People may refuse to hire someone because of a Hue Mark.

Sports teams recruit based on color myths.

Schools accidentally reinforce stereotypes through traditions.

Entire neighborhoods become dominated by one or two colors because people choose to live near those they think are "similar."

Some cafés even have unofficial "favorite customers."

None of this is legal in most places.

It still happens.

The Hue Wars

Every few decades, arguments between large Hue groups spiral into massive public conflicts known as Hue Wars.

These aren't always military wars.

Sometimes they're:

  • Economic boycotts

  • Massive protests

  • School strikes

  • Competitive tournaments taken way too seriously

  • Political campaigns

  • Internet flame wars

  • City-wide festivals that turn into complete disasters

Everyone insists their Hue is misunderstood.

Everyone insists the other colors started it.

Ridiculous Superstitions

Huevia has thousands of completely fake beliefs.

Examples include:

  • Gray people supposedly attract bad weather.

  • Purple people are "destined" to become leaders.

  • Reds can't cook.

  • Blue babies supposedly learn to read faster.

  • Yellow people supposedly have unbelievable luck.

  • Black people never give up.

  • Pink people always forgive everyone.

  • Orange people can't sit still.

  • Green people talk to plants.

  • White people never break rules.

Scientists have disproven every single one.

Nobody listens.

Scientists are Exhausted

Every year scientists publish enormous studies proving:

  • Hue Marks don't affect IQ.

  • Hue Marks don't affect athletic ability.

  • Hue Marks don't affect personality.

  • Hue Marks don't affect emotions.

  • Hue Marks don't affect lifespan.

  • Hue Marks don't affect creativity.

Every year...

People ignore them.

Some even accuse the scientists of secretly favoring another Hue.

Schools

Schools are absolute chaos.

Students often split into color-based friend groups.

Sports teams argue over whether certain Hues are "naturally better."

Some teachers accidentally expect more from certain colors without realizing it.

Others spend entire careers trying to eliminate those biases.

School debates about Hue Marks are so common that some schools have weekly assemblies just to calm everyone down.

Politics

Several major movements compete for influence across Huevia:

Spectrum League

Believes every Hue deserves equal treatment and opportunities.

Pure Hue Society

Claims certain Hues are naturally superior despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Gray Horizon

Created by Gray-marked citizens determined to prove that being called "ordinary" means nothing.

Colorbreakers

Reject the Hue system entirely. Many cover their Hue Marks with clothing, paint, or accessories as a statement that people shouldn't be judged by a random color.

The Chaos Coalition

A group that intentionally mixes every Hue together at public events just to confuse extremists and make it impossible to sort people by color.

Everyday Life

Entire businesses advertise:

"Every Hue Welcome!"

Others quietly show favoritism without admitting it.

Festivals celebrate all ten Hues... until arguments break out over which celebration got the bigger budget.

Television hosts invite one representative from every Hue to debates that almost always become shouting matches.

Internet forums are full of endless arguments over imaginary "proof" that one Hue is better than another.

The Truth

After centuries of research, one fact has never changed:

Hue Marks are completely random.

They are harmless glowing colors.

They do not decide someone's future, abilities, intelligence, or personality.

The only real power they have comes from the meaning society has unfairly attached to them.

Main Theme

Huevia is a world where nearly everyone has forgotten that a random color is just a random color. The setting explores how myths, stereotypes, and social pressure can divide people over something meaningless, while highlighting characters who challenge those assumptions, build friendships across every Hue, and show that who you are is defined by your choices—not by the color of your Hue Mark.
