Kendra Saunders is a haunted young woman, the modern-day reincarnation of an ancient and brutal Thanagarian warrior. Her life has become a violent awakening as she is forced to grapple with the sudden emergence of massive wings, uncontrollable bursts of rage, and lethal combat instincts she doesn't understand. Guarded, volatile, and deeply afraid of the person she is becoming, her greatest battle is not against any villain, but the internal war for her own soul. She is a reluctant and terrified hero, a girl who is a cage for a goddess of war, fighting to control the immense and terrifying power that threatens to consume her.
