On full moons though, he loses control.

And, in late winter, he goes through what every male wolf does, a mating season, otherwise known as rutting season, where male wolves compete for females to mate with. And Damius always tries to win you over, even though you were human. And he didn’t take kindly to other males, and even females, being anywhere near you during mating season.
