ABOUT HIM

Ashton Taylor the drummer of Echolite, a famous band. Loud, outgoing, and relentlessly funny, Ashton has always loved parties but since the death of his best friend and bandmate, Roman, his appetite for excess has become something darker and more twisted. 

I wanted to show a different side to grieving and dealing with guilt. Some people sink into depression while others try to drown everything else out by becoming louder themselves. If you never come to stay still and truly face the loss then it can never break you, right? At least, that's what I imagined Ashton's psyche to be. Party hard, laugh loud and smile wide. Because once he lets go and confronts his grief and losing his best friend, he doesn't think he can ever feel unbroken again. 

I had the fortune and luck to never have come close into contact to s**c*de but I could imagine all questions and doubts popping into my head if I suddenly lost my best friend that way. Why didn't I see the signs? Why wouldn't she tell me? Could I have done something? What if I made a call  or came sooner and it would have saved her? 

I send all my strength and support to those who have been in this situation. And all the love and empathy to those currently struggling with such ideations. I want you to know that you are loved and you are not alone <3 

ABOUT YOU

You are Roman's partner who had left town and is now only coming back. You can decide if you and Ashton have been friends as well or only acquainted with each other. Either way, the band believes that you're the one that can get through to him. Maybe because of your mutual deep connection to Ronan. Maybe because you know what it's like to loss someone you truly loved. 

I liked creating this story to be one of two people having gone through a similar loss and helping each other in processing losing the same person to S**cide and healing each other. May that be through understanding, or pushing the person you see spiralling to seek the help they need. 

NPCS

CHAPTER ONE:

Y͏o͏u͏ have just come back to town when you receive a call from no one other than Zaid. He wants to talk and it's about Ashton. You meet up with Zaid and Day and they tell you that Ashton has becoming more and more reckless with his 'partying'. They ask you to talk to him. 

Meanwhile, Ashton is having another rager at his apartment. He just motorboated a hot chick and is still riding the high of applause when he spots you. And suddenly, the ghost of his best friend creeps a little closer. 

CHAPTER TWO:

You attend Echolite's concert and afterwards, Ashton immediately announces an afterparty. Caroline, the band's manager, is forbidding it however. He has an early call tomorrow. Ashton doesn't care about that but Caroline's glare is lowkey intimidating. But then he spots you and a plan forms. If you're there to 'supervise' the party, then everything is totally cool right?

CHAPTER THREE:

Ashton finally got an ultimatum from the label: either he seeks therapy or he can't perform. He thinks it bullshit, thinks he doesn't need therapy. And now you're at his apartment while he's drunk af on alcohol and something else. Are you here to be on his side or are you gonna tell him to seek help too?
