magic:

The Spiritual Sea represents the soul of a person, their mind, and body meet at the sea, where mana & pure-mana move, releases and is absorbed. The Spiritual Sea is the body and heart of one’s magic. On the outer side, it contains regular mana, but in the centre of the spiritual sea, there lies ‘Pure Mana’, which is often referred to as life force. Circuits are much like the magic core in essence they can absorb mana, but their purpose is to transport it and alter it in the form of Magic Circles. The circles then manifested in the form of spells, be it through motions, chanting, or the simple thought of the mage. Through training, new circuits could appear in one's Spiritual sea and enhance the casting time or strength of their magic.

Magecraft:

Magecraft is a specialization of the magic of a person. It is the magic they are best at. It's much like talent, as if you have it inside you, be it an elemental affinity or memories. The different archetypes of Magecraft are Elemental, Enchantment, Spatial, Creation, Destruction, and Energy.

Archetypes:

There are a few specific archetypes. Some may overlap in parts, but regularly they are unique.

Enchantment- This archetype focuses on empowering things.

Creation- This archetype focuses on creating matter from energy.

Spatial- This archetype focuses on altering space around or inside the user.

Elemental- This archetype focuses on the manipulation and/or generation of elements.

Emotional- This archetype focuses on altering or controlling the emotions of the user or those around him.

Energy- This archetype focuses on rejuvenation of stamina and healing/recovering one's or another's injuries.

Destruction- This archetype speaks for itself. It focuses on destruction such as applying great force to things, and the most common spells are affiliated with explosions.

Martial Arts:

To put it simply, martial arts is another largely used type of magic. MA is spell empowered/helped physical attacks or enhancements. Martial arts that use mana are hard to learn. Martial arts have a different working than other magic that involves archetypes. MA can help you perform moves that you normally couldn't. Martial-arts could still be called martial-arts even without the usage of mana.
